    |Hi Bagpuss,

Well done on your fantastic time. Sounds like ypou are suffering a bit , but it just goes to show it was worth it!....looking forward to the next one?:T:T:T

Well done Lurkio, I prefer an evening run generally, I find it relaxing after a day at work. And cooler, if you usually run at lunch time. I do like a nice hot lunchtime run sometimes, but ~i do not like the early morning ones, dont know how you early risers do it! (Simply Cynical!)..how was your Park Run?

    Cats...7.30......:T

that's what does me in about parkrun.... I have to get up!!! Don't think I'm a morning runner, somehow. Then again, I'm usually knackered by the time i get home :rotfl:

I need to start upping my distance a bit, so lunchtimes may well be out anyway..... so next week will be an evening one. I think I have a 10k measured out, more or less

I have had dogs for umpteen years and now I don't have one so having little jog in the morning is good replacement what used to be taking a dog/dogs for a walk. I do prefer the morning before breakfast as then don't need to think when to eat etc etc...

Last run tomorrow morning before BUPA - I have everything crossed that Monday will be nice and cool in London.

Ok I have talked myself out of that XC run as I really don't have enough time to prepare for it but I am soooo chuffed with myself as I got the results for today's BUPA 10k 00:58:49 :j

Thanks Mascott, however the time wasn't quite that good in the end as race organisers have been messing with the times and now my time is 01:10:47 but they have my 5k time 54 something which definitely can't be right. I didn't toodle to 5k to then fly the second half.

So as a result this result mess I am going to enter into another 10k in mid July to try to get the time I thought I had. If that makes any sense.

I hope you will get better soon and are back running.
