    Just a little by the looks on it, as well as everything trying to eat/kill you:D but oh boy will it be fun.

    Just enterred Lausanne Marathon - end of October. Looks like good fun. How do I loose 10 kg between now and end of August?

    Cats, I imagine it will help getting a PB if being chase by something with Fangs!

    If you have any sort of training plan in place, you will loose that easily if you just avoid pigging out!
    Have you got a training plan? First one, or have you done others.....?

    Welllllll, mudrunner was absolutetley the best laugh:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:6 miles-ish,and chest deep mud, and 2 lakes, and the obstacles:joooooooo i had fun.

    Anybody out there racing/training this weekend?

    I know you lote are talking about marathons and I am way behind anything like that. I just wanted to say I have the Nike+ thingy with i pod and just did liverpool womens 10 k and realised that its not calibrated properly told me I had run 11.45 k. I have been thinking I had done 10k in 56 minutes...gutted!

    Hi Rachel - the Nike+ is very inaccurate I'm afriad...the race is on the power of ten rankings site so it must have a certificate and be accurate distance.

    Try to pick yourself up and see the time you have got as a marker - its not the end goal, merely a stepping stone onto something better.

    Try mapmyrun.com for distances and just buy a cheap watch - its much more accurate than Nike+ and if you want regular progress updates on your training pop along to a parkrun from time to time - free weekly 5ks all around the country!

    Good luck springboarding yourself onto better things :)

    Don't worry about it....i had a similar problem with a Garmin, and you soon pick up, well done on completing it anyway, so just book your next one, and beat that time! Good Luck

    This thread is for ALL runners......from those who are doing Ultra Marathons, to those who have just got there old trainers out the back of the cupboard and dread a 1/2 mile slog.....believe me you really can get great advice, and improve at your own pace...Enjoy

    Good morning!

    No running for me today as DD is poorly and off from school so I am working from home. :(

    However I have emailed the peeps in coastersgb to ask if I can be added as a floater :D
