As I said on the facebook page £20 for Bristol one day only offer seems like a good deal to me :D...im not one to do the same race twice apart from very special reasons... but...

    and as for Athens....

Registrations for the 2010 Athens Classic Marathon
    will be available online soon.

    Thank you.

Feeling quite virtuous about lengthening my runs, although, I'm not at my best speed, and of course I know I can run further. It just feels good making myself do something that should help me to improve. So glad of the lack of ice too, I don't mind rain, cold - but the icy pavements did me in.

Do we have a facebook page then?

    Hi All....
    Back from my holidays.

Have to say it was very much a disaster from a running point of view.
without wishing to be too graphic I have a sore ar**!!

    This is not good.....

I havent run since Tuesday (a 5 miler) and although it is better I am nervous that this is going to be a long term problem.
I cannot wait any longer so I will be going out tomorrow but I am not sure my delicate disposition will handle the 40 plus miles am due to do this week.

I have also had to step in at work for the whole month doing 12 hour shifts which mean that I will be leaving the house at 05.30 and getting home at 20.30 and then having to train....(only 4 days a week, but still makes it hard....)

It will be better in April.....but I just cant believe it has happened in the most crucial month.

I guess it is only a month and if I can get through this....everthing afterwards will be a dodle....I will try to catch up later, but do I understand that we have a website set up?

Good luck all you lucky runners!!

I'll get Becky to send you an invite when she gets back tomorrow.:D

That certainly is a challenging month ahead. I'm just a little concerned about when you'll get time to sleep.

Is there any way of making a couple of the runs easy lunchtime runs? Or is that just impractical?

Ukevas - so, what's the page called? Or is it a closely guarded secret - I promise not to tell Rich or Becks!

Awaiting Approval on the new site!!

Rich, I am concerned too...its going to be a really tough month. But It is only a month,. Tied into my tapering will be an ease off at work so if I really go for it, and just write off life for March, and April will be a breeze.

I know its not quite a full on test but I just had a 100 yds in my jeans down to the paper shop and the actual running process didnt seem to affect things too much.

I am worried that sleep will become an issue, I think I will be able to get there.

Just had a look in more detail and its not as bad as it could have been

With travel all my working days are 15 hrs so there are a couple of hair raisers.
The good news is that I have avoided any week ends so my long runs are going to be fine.

Altogether I have 9 days where I will need to run and it will have to be before or after work.
    I would say thats do-able!
