Did you see that link I posted earlier about Vicki Perry - that is one seriously impressive VW50-54, maybe even the best in the world by now!
Yep, keeping up with everything but getting itchy fingers because I can't respond.
Ha, ha I saw the link and instead of thinking 'Wow, what an inspiration' I selfishly thought 'Hmm, typical what's that going to do to my WAVA after May'. :rotfl: :rotfl:2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910 -

I keep looking at my wava and wonder how long it will be/what do i have to do to get over 50%. I thought I would have done it with the half.
My garmin recorded my HR in the last mile of the race at 200 I'm guessing that was due to the full on sprint at the end + the stress of the injury. I probably looked like I was about to keel over as well.:staradmin5k - 00:27:46:staradmin 10k - 00:57.03:staradminHalf - 02:01:15:staradmin5M - 00:44:07:staradmin0 -

50% means getting within double the world record.
Unfortunately, there is a fair number of African athletes who can run in the region of 59 minutes.
Its going to get tougher when Haile becomes a veteran for all the V40s out there.:(Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

And the WRs for WAVA calculations are only rebased once every few years so you'll have to live with the Haile factor for a while yet!;)

Out at 5 a.m. for a 3 miles hill session, probably not one of my better ideas as my knee is now twice the size and the bruise is looking terrible....oh well at least I completed it:D and managed to spot, 12 rabbits, 2 deer and what might have possibly be a badgerProud to be dealing with my debt:eek:
TOTAL: £6,437 (04/01/2013) slowly but surely it is decreasing:D0 -
Been notified that my Turbo X on the 7th has been delayed for 2 months. How upsetting :'o(0

Thats the thing - 4 miles in 50 minutes isn't pushing it - and that included 3 small walking breaks when I started feeling out of breath. It's the first run I've done this week - missed running club due to work meetings this week so I just didn't have time to go out. It's been rubbish since christmas really between work, the snow and being ill
Well, it could just be a tough "blow out the cobwebs" run after recent inactivity, in which case your next outing should be better.
On the other hand, if you end up working just as hard at a similar pace in your next session, it looks like you still haven't recovered fully. I would see your GP and tell him/her about it, to be on the safe side.Running Club targets 20105KM - 21:00 21:55 (59.19%)10KM - 44:00 --:-- (0%)Half-Marathon - 1:45:00 HIT! 1:43:08 (57.84%)Marathon - 3:45:00 --:-- (0%)0 -
Aw Idio that's a shame.
Rich can you add erm Sheffield Race for Life to races list for me, 13th June.. yeah I know lol - work colleagues are being indecisive about it but one of my mates is visiting that weekend and wants to walk/ jog it so am keeping her company. Did the course in 27:07 last year but think I've improved quite a lot since then so will be interesting to see the time. Not fundraising though - the Kilomathon/ Sheffield Half is my joint charity effort for this year and that's it!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
