    Hi All

Still alive here ;) Not ran since sunday though through a mixture of CBA, icy and snow. Probably bimble around tomorrow to see how things are.

My ideal post race recovery meal for a short race of say 10 miles is milkshake, for marathons or longer pizza, KFC that sort of thing. Did have steak after doing one ultra though, followed by pizza later on as i was still hungry.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Well done linda on your first parkrun, glad it went well.

We had snow this morning kms but pretty much gone now.

    Thu 18/2 3.26 miles 31:02 (9.31/mile)
    Fri 19/2 6.01miles 58:02 (9:39/mile)
    Sat 20/2 6.07 miles 59:15 (9:45/mile)

Took it steady for the first 2 miles then started to pick up the pace, had to really pick it up in the last mile to achieve my goal but made it. Looking forward to a gentle bimble tomorrow.
