    Yay!:T

Thats after you've had the 36" Super Deep Pan Dominos to replace the Carr Lane calories I take it.;)

I think it'll be sushi followed by bananas tomorrow, that always gives me lots of energy for running!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

And on another subject all together - Rich here's what I've eaten so far today and what I ate yesterday for comparison (which is fairly typical):
    Breakfast:
weds - porridge, pear, black coffee x 2
thurs - porridge, 2 x passion fruit, 2 x brown pitta breads, pack of sugar snap peas coffee x 2

    Lunch:
weds - innocent stew veg pot, 2 x pitta bread, coleslaw, diet coke
thurs - bacon and chicken sandwich, punnet of cherries, 7 fondant fancies (I know!!!)

    Dinner:
weds - innocent veg casserole with a tin of sardines
thurs - probably cous cous with sardines, salad and baby corn

Now I'm having two problems - I am hungry all the time but I cant eat too close to running as I get a stitch
I feel like there is enough there to fuel me, or should be, but I am still losing weight

Help! Besides eating more sugar, which I dont want to do, I cant think what else I can add to my meals - I dont really cook all that often as cooking for one without a freezer is annoying, but I clearly need to be getting more calories in somehow!!!

    Simple - Here's all your answers!:p

Well done on that 10 miler, looks just about the right pace too!:D

Simply - I atke it that the legs felt good again? Three successive days should have got rid of any remaining cobwebs. I, too, was wondering about Mascott.....he must be up to about 47 miles and counting......

Oh, and yes, I'd say Carr Lane is both longer and steeper than 'my hill'. At a guess I'd say the elevation is 800-1000ft over about 3/4 mile perhaps. Does that sound about right, Linda?

Gross was hoping for a sensible answer since you've had diet/anemia issues in the long past :)

Ah, but that was simple....I wasnt eating meat and training VERY hard....so I gave up on that idea and started to love cow and pig munching again!

Muesli, Pasta, Bread, Potatoes are basically the answer (and pizza!)

(I cant believe you expected a sensible answer and directed the question at me, will you never learn?)

You've got to love that BLT though. How many calories in that? 10,000?

Okay in that case should I order a pizza?? :)

This is tmi but basically nothing seems to be sticking at the moment - it just goes straight through me - very odd like my metabolism has gone mad...
