    Thinking of your mate mascott, I had sister-in-law and brother out there at the same time. Back home safe. Enjoy the lake district.

    That run is in a lovely part of the country - think I will do it if we're not away on hols at the time. Definitely be a PB if there's a giant rat after me :rotfl:

    There's a big Tesco's where the parkrun starts so always plenty of parking before 9am on Saturday morning. :D

    and... I did! :) veerrryyy slow, hit half way at 14 summat :o, but I think that was only to be expected, then had timer failure somewhere on the way back...... but on the plus side, I went AND got round.

    You should be pleased. You got around. I call that a result! How far did you get? Slow and steady is the name of the game at the beginning.



    Did a slow 4 miles at lunchtime. Don't know exactly what pace, but it was around 40 mins. Plenty left in the tank for tomorrow.

    my usual lunchtime course which, thanks to mapmyrun ;), is measured at a shade under 5km (4.82).
