Ev - if you havent entered yet I would skip it...find something else to do in a few months
Red - I would do a 12 but I suspect Rich will suggest a 10
Well that helps:rotfl:
Right then, will hopefully be joining squizz to do the Sheffield 1/2 on 25th April. It's my birthday on 24th so I can ask parents to have kids overnight as my prezzie and visit a friend in Sheffield on the Saturday (notoriously boozie nights with her so will have to be a sober visit. Best night was seeing Elvis in the city centre.....!) and then do the race on the Sunday

Red, why don't you go for 12, very slowly and jog/walk the last bit if you feel you can't make it on the day? Also no harm in going for 12 and stopping after 10, I'd say.Running Club targets 20105KM - 21:00 21:55 (59.19%)10KM - 44:00 --:-- (0%)Half-Marathon - 1:45:00 HIT! 1:43:08 (57.84%)Marathon - 3:45:00 --:-- (0%)0

Hi all
Have taken a bold step and brought my kit with me today.... I think I might venture out at lunchtime
Quick question that you might know the answer to off the top of your heads...... is there a web site where you can plot your route and it will return how far you have run (accurately)?
I haven't got any of the Nike+ or similar......

mapmyrun.com or mapometer.com will do the trick. Have fun. I'm heading out myself in a minute.Running Club targets 20105KM - 21:00 21:55 (59.19%)10KM - 44:00 --:-- (0%)Half-Marathon - 1:45:00 HIT! 1:43:08 (57.84%)Marathon - 3:45:00 --:-- (0%)0 -

squizz, do you know of any decent B&Bs in the city centre?0
-
It's not great for B&Bs round here - heard this place is OK - http://sheffieldbandb.co.uk/ - otherwise I would suggest the Premier Inn/ Novotel/ Jurys Inn/ Copthorne hotels if you can get a decent priced room.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
