Definitely, I know I can get round it now :D I might have to try that, it's never happened before but I've never worn it for so long. Talking of which, have any of you (I guess the ladies but won't assume!) tried the new Shock Absorber bra which is specifically designed for running? It looks very comfortable and well-made but is £36!

    I havent I am £4 from Asda girl :D:D:money:

I got chaffing during the marathon on the tops of my boobs but I dont seem to get it anymore - however, if you chuck water over yourself during the race that also seems to make it worse so watch out for that

  • 16 miler today. Looking forward to it. Just realised how my body is recovering better and better. 8 miles yesterday and I feel fresh today. A couple of months ago I would have been stiff today. My only thoughts today is what route. Starting to get a bit bored with my routes. Cant get on the net at the moment. Oh well. Good running at the weekend becky and red. Good luck to all those out later. Using a phone for net is rubbish! Report back later.

Good luck Mascott - one of the best things about getting fitter is reduced recovery times :)

UK - Uni a reason for not running? Thats when we got our best training done.;)

True but when you have to work full time around it.

As for pace becky ...I was going to be paceing around the 1hr 40m but with my calf ( that keeps playing up ) might just go for a jog around 2hr ish... which would be disapointing but i have bigger races then Bighton 1/2 to look forward to this year :).

I would say that seems sensible :), but you could take the first few miles slowly and see what happens - you never know it still could be a decent time at the end

Men suffer from throwing water on the chest too you know :p

VLM will be full of blokes with tell tale erd streaks cos they forgot to lube there nipples. Me i dont suffer from that too much, usually if i havn't run for a while.

My bottom however........... thats another story
