It might be because there are a few women with my name so they are confused...

In fact, you need to click on 'Reading' in your profile and the iD the athlete - there are only 2 that have got iD against them so far....that is what establishes the link.

Edit : Take that back - the two that have iD against them are the two they dont know about. As you were....:p

  • Park run gave me a nike+ band and pod for free, but I've never managed to make it work. I bought a little velcro thing that attaches it to the top of my laces, as I wear Asics. (I love Pump and combat too!)

What a great freebie! I found that pressing the button on the back of the pod for a few seconds helped to link the devices.

Becky - That 25 mile routes looks okay, because you arent on the race route for the last 5 miles or so. But where does it start? The South Pier?

No at the Hilton and then down to the South Pier before coming back up and past the Hilton again - I think if we get there for about 9am I should be done by 1pm ish so can then watch you come in :D

Nike are one of the sponsors of parkrun so, along with Lucozade, will often try out new products on the willing parkrunners..:D

Okay, in which case its fine. I've got KYCU's number as well, so it will be interesting to see if you've got enough energy to do 'enthusiastic spectator duties' after a 25 miler.......could be tough.:p

    Go for it.

You often see threads on RW from people who spend weeks worried about going, go along and then wonder why they bothered worrying.

There really is nothing to build up courage about to be honest.

But, as I always say, if you really are concerned about what to expect just go down and walk your dog or something the first time to get a feel for it.

At our event on Saturday, at Bushy Park, the age range was 5 - 80....and that was just in one family.:p
