I wasn't too sure yesterday if I'd made the correct decision to rest on Sunday but this morning's run confirmed that I was right. Boy it was tough - my thighs and calves complained all the way round. I'm sure tomorrow's run will be easier.
Well done on the 16 milers red and mascott - good going!! :T
I paid £30 for a bra in the running shop a couple of weeks ago - it had a zip front and when I went to wear it the zipper came off in my hand. :rotfl: I took it back and got a refund - I'm going to stick to the cheaper ones in future.2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910 -

I'm very pleased to see such a low pulse tonight, meaning not only has last week's virus been completely dispatched but also the 22 miler was dealt with pretty promptly too....all good news.:D:D
Mascott - Glad to hear you've got Mrs M hard at it!;) Its a good move - trust me, its a lot easier when you have a partner that runs too!:D
Simply - Its good to see that you have all this stiffness stuff sussed out now. The first run after a few days off is always a 'pipe cleaner'. You'll be fine on the next one, as you say.....Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Methinks I might have to buy a GPs system:D went out with one of my running partners......and you'd thin k by now I would have learnt as we get lost every single time....so we ran Bookham......the one he ran 2 weeks ago....and.... we got lost (as per usual) and ended up running for an extra hr!:D:D but the mud was sooooooo much funProud to be dealing with my debt:eek:
TOTAL: £6,437 (04/01/2013) slowly but surely it is decreasing:D0 -
You seem to have dispatched your virus in my direction grrrr
But on good news I have been working on other projects
Well done Catspaw, Mascott and Simply0 -
julie_scot ran 6.19 km on 16/2/2010 at 7:04 PM with a pace of 6'29"/km http://nikerunning.nike.com/n/r/en_GB/612344652/1416655259/?sitesrc=fbk_ab_plus
Nice little run tonight - the big dip must have been at the traffic lights - they seemed to take an age! It was ALL up hill! The poor jog coach got an earful at the end0 -
Wow that looks like the London Marathon pace graphs
Good run though - well doneSee at 40 mins for 6.19kms you would be looking at around a 32-34 minute 5k time so perfect parkrun time

I was just going to say, I thought you were concerned about coming last in the parkrun, Julie....not much chance of that with that sort of pace in training!:DGt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j
