You big tease!:p
Hey, I'd run with a stick and a steak dangling from the end of it as an incentive if I could!
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

Nobody sponsoring will care whether its a 5K 'Race For Life' or a 5K parkrun.
The difference will be that the results, and hence proof of completion, will be available online almost straight away AND there will be £12.99 per person more to donate to charity.
Hehe - my first thought was 'shame there isn't a parkrun nearer here'... think some of them are more interested in the girly day out aspect of it to be honest, and pretty sure some will be walk/ jogging rather than running.
I do fancy doing this at some point though - http://www.runnersworld.co.uk/events/viewevent.asp?sp=&v=2&EN=54124&ms=Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Now if we'd called it a rest day you'd have been been jumping up and down saying 'Excuse me, I've been out';)
Ron Hill didnt get his string of 15,000 consecutive training days by dismissing 1 mile so easily...:pGt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j
