Mon - 6.24 miles in 56:47 8:56 mins/mile
Tues - 8.32 miles in 78:01 9:23 mins/mile
Was originally planning a tempo tonight but was just so stiff it was touch and go whether I'd be able to go out at all - just took it really slowly and got round the miles anyway

Another comfortable run this morning - and another bloodied sock! Not sure what's going on with my toes as I still can't see anything wrong and they're not sore. If it happens again tomorrow I might have to invest in something to separate and protect them and see if that helps.
Well done for sticking with it when you were feeling stiff Becky

Ha, now that's a thought. How much do they weigh? I might run a few seconds faster if I was a toe or two lighter!!2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910

I wonder if its the skin between the toes or at the edge of the nail - its most likely the tiniest cut - but obviously there is a lot of blood pumping around when you are running so it usually bleeds a lot...
Dont chop anything off just yet - you're better off getting racing shoes if you're that desperate0 -
But I had my money saving hat on Becky
The best way to speed up would be to stop feeding my face and lose a bit of weight ............. that's not going to happen anytime soon :rotfl:

No dieting while in marathon training Simply!! As you know one needs the fuel - as long as you arent putting on weight and inches (remember weight on alone is okay) then you are doing the right things0

Had a great run last night with the club :T
It was basically running round the block but one side was a very steep hill and we had to do the loop once then rest, twice then rest and then 3 times followed by a rest. Then back to twice, then once and a good stretch out.
I really pushed it and felt great, It took some focus to get up the steep bit but once I got to the top and onto the 'recovery section' across and back down I recovered quickly.
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0
