Sorry I forgot to look - I'll map it exactly tomorrow (its tough on my tiny screen) and let you know :D

You cant get lost once you've done one lap as you have to pass the house again every lap ;)
  • Cheers Simply..LONG WAY to go though

Yeah, its going well at the moment. Becky/Rich you are right. Its the distance thing I need to concentrate on. I have never consistently run over 10 miles really so I need to push on now.

I havent planned any races in. I guess a sneeky half in a few weeks might be a good idea. I need to make sure I dont do my usual of setting off like Seb Coe...practise makes sense

16miles this Sunday....Friends over on Saturday night.....that show slow the pace down....!

Mrs Mascott will be attending a park run....she just wont announce when....maybe in 2010,thats all she will say. I will try again in a month or so once she is well and truly addicted!

    Indeed you do!

You should see the pace that me and Becky set off on long runs, even the baby ducks next to my place waddle past us as if we're standing still..:rotfl:

To be fair I start all my runs like that because usual I am so stiff I dont think I can actually run and then what do you know a few miles later and I am fine - some quite hilarious hobbling goes on in those two miles though :p

Okay just remapped Sunday and its elevation profile is much better than I remembered:
    min 95ft
    max 207ft
    ascent 108ft
    descent -115ft

So its an illegal course - wooo hooo!

Nothing worse than a 2% mmr gradient either ;)

Total distance is 5.48 miles but thats mapped roughly because you have to take some of the corners wide due to no pavements so i think we can count it was 5.5 :D

Glad to hear it - so you are fully recovered now then :)

Are you looking forward to the 16 attempt this weekend?

Training last night, no running tonight as bf is coming around, but going out on Wednesday night with some other runners from a running shop via my friend. Should be interesting as don't run with other people, think they're going to do 5-6mi so that should challenge me. :)

I think so! Yep I am, just need to work out a route, I think laps will have to be involved.

Sounds good Tirlittan - let us know how it goes :)

Red - actually thats a good idea if you can do the mental side because if you need to quit you can without too much of a walk home ;)
