What is it with these footballers? They're either getting injured or having affairs.....runners are injury free and wholesome!;):p:rotfl:
No afairs for me, just injury! Some footballers are fab, like Danny Butterfield last night
And not all runners are injury free, they are just much less prone to injury. As for wholesome, hmmm I remain unconvinced:rotfl:

They should train by rope-less bungee jumping!
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

Including the weekend away? If so that really is creepy idio. Do you think we are 2 halves of a schizophrenic personality? We have never met in person, after all.
Yeah, including that, heading off for my sister's wedding tomorrow, so will be leaving most attempts at exercise til Monday now
I certainly *feel* like one half of a schizophrenic personality most of the time
Just to stick up for footballers, this is the worst I've really been injured in 4 years of playing at least once a week, so it's hardly a bloodsport0 -

huh! I don't have the time or the money for philandering!
My wife and I were talking about status symbols (and their pointlessness) and she said "maybe you should get yourself a mistress". My reply: "On my salary! Are you mad, woman!"
As for footie injuries, I did have a ligament injury last year playing footie, but on the whole it's not been too much. Maybe just paranoia on my part!Running Club targets 20105KM - 21:00 21:55 (59.19%)10KM - 44:00 --:-- (0%)Half-Marathon - 1:45:00 HIT! 1:43:08 (57.84%)Marathon - 3:45:00 --:-- (0%)0 -

Hi,
I'm after some advice.
I'm a fat tub of lard who's only exercise consists of lifting more cake to my gaping maw.
I've been offered a place in an ironman next week, I quite fancy giving it ago, do you think it's realistic.
I've been doing some training by lifting my huge girth from the sofa and shuffling to the TV rather than using the remote control, I've got my time down to 10 minutes to travel the 4 feet across the rug over the last week.
I think if I clear the burger and chocolate wrappers from the floor I can get down to 8 minutes by Friday!
Can you offer any advice? It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
