Ah thats better 6.4 miles in 62 mins, i may or may not of resembled a snowman when i got back. Why is it that when running a circular route the bloody snow blows into your face all the way round. The less said about the dumb asses driving down the road the better, was hit by wing mirrors thrice on one stretch alone. Its not like there wasn't room to go past either useless drivers.
Legs less dead than yesterday too8ish in the morning before my evening shift

Screeeeeeeech and crash *sound of Becky hitting and tripping over the overtraining line*
Weds - 4.16 miles in 40:04 9:38 mins/mile
Could have gone on longer but there was no point at all - I felt like I weighed about 20 stone and the legs had nothing to give, but hey ho at least by Sunday I will be well rested again - its really no surprise this has happened so I am not annoyed about it at all - cant wait for this progress to kick in
Uk - I feel your pain - hope it gets better soon!
Well done on a good run KMS0 -
No running for me tonight - another 2 day rest period, that should get everything nicely back to strength.:D
I was actually really up for a good one tonight, but having just driven home and experienced how little grip there is for cars out there I just dont fancy being out in a snowstorm with skidding cars around.
It would be reasonable to get out later on when the traffic has cleared up but I'm going to get stuck into a nice pile of nourishment instead!:D:D:)
Becky - Thats good news, at least now we know you're human!:p Should bode well for a good one on Sunday. It also shows that even though a lot of recent runs having been feeling very comfortable, you have still been getting some good benefit from them......
KMS - Sounds like you enjoyed the snow, it certainly didnt affect your pace. But leave those wing mirrors alone, you vandal!;)
UK - Doesnt sound serious, but its the kind of thing that indicates 'too much, too soon' so tread carefully.....Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Wow, I can't believe you guys have got snow again!! It was near perfect running conditions here this morning - cool, a gentle breeze and just the right amount of refreshing drizzle
Enjoy your rest days Rich, Becky and Uk and I hope the ignorant drivers haven't caused you any damage kms!
Now for those of you who don't leave your training to the last minute (and then ignore the advice given) and who are happy to run without a carnival atmosphere on a pleasant, flat, fast course - entries for Abingdon 2010 have opened.
17th October is the date - so am I tempted? .......... it would seem a shame to miss all those lovely early morning runs through the country park in daylight ............. and I'll be another year older which will help the WAVA along ............ and it's more MSE than going to Florence ....... is that enough good reasons to enter do you think?2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910 -

:rotfl:. aye.... but its more of a case that the order of the day seemd to be standing aroud talking for long lengths of time last night, while the slower ones catch up.. ( one reason why I only go once a week ) I dont normaly mind as its normally about 30 seconds - one min ....but last night was long waits. :mad:Cabbage Patch 09 - 10m - 1hr 06mLeicester 09 -1/2 - 1h 26m0 -

Sorry Becky
Edit to say - I can't imagine you weighing 20 stone; that must have made this evening's run difficult. :rotfl:;)
Ooh, it would be good to meet you both at Abingdon - I've only met krider in the real world. I think that's probably why we haven't seen much of her recently - oh dear!! :rotfl:2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910 -
