Beer tins, set a date, have a blow out until then and start again with some gentle runs, once you start running again it'll make you want to eat healthier! don't give up!
    ...Linda xx

I'm getting in the swing of it now. Did you confuse my post?! x

Edit: Maybe my reply to BJ? I suppose BJ and BT kind of look the same on the screen. Kind of. ;)

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

I was going to say.....Beer Tins is flying at the moment, Linda, all cylinders firing towards the marathon debut at Blackpool.

Talking of marathon first timers, theres a couple of guys on the RW 'proper running thread'(:p) just building up to their first marathons in April. One is hoping to break 2:30 in London and the other is hoping to smash the course record at the Lochaber Marathon, which just happens to be 2:18!

Both will go close even if they miss their targets. But that used to be the way of the world whereby track runners only moved up to the marathon after having years of solid mileage under their belts.

Thanks. Ooh the pedant hat's warm. Have you had it on a while? ;)

Didn't mean to be pedantic, but your post read like you don't eat for a long time after your run :)
