I must have zoning out on a completely new level..:p
Oh god I get this all the time in Battersea - remember what happens when you ask me which lap I am on :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Tues - 6.2 miles in 59:57 9:38 mins/mile
Weds - 6.24 miles in 59:56 9:36 mins/mile
Thurs - 10.4 miles in 95:22 9:12 mins/mile
A bit swifter tonight but took the first half steady and then pushed on a little - legs still feeling a bit tired so may or may not take a rest day tomorrow depending on how keen I am to meet my target on Sunday...pretty keen but to be honest I dont think one rest day is going to help much - its likely to take a week for that 20 miler to be fully out of the legs so I may just do tomorrow as today

Not bad at all!:D Pretty much a repreat of the first half of last Sunday's run.
If that felt comfortable enough then doing the same again should cause no problems....its more a case of how hard you want to run the parkrun that will affect Sunday....Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Any of you Northerners fancy this?

...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
£20 for a 5k
I see them in battersea twice a week - looks crazzzzy the classes - they look like they are torturing themselves

I've got to admit that I dont really get all that BMF stuff unless its aimed at unfit bods who wouldnt get any exercise otherwise.
Why pay someone a wad of money to do a course consisting of 'Trees, hills, mud, water, obstacles'?
You can do that any day of the week and if you need to do it with other people it cant be that hard to get a group together via all the online forums available now.
20 people - £400 they can spend in the pub instead of just giving away.
But I might be missing something of course..................................
Edit: I notice they have a position available for a 'Marketing Projects Manager', Becky, at £30k + benefits. Now there's a backup plan for you.....;)Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

£20.00 .... that's extortionate. There's a 5k being run locally in February and I was shocked to see that they wanted £11.00 entry fee for that - and no I didn't enter it!!!
I had trees, hills, water and mud today - obstacles too if you count the dog walkers who were blocking the pavement and wouldn't move out of the way :rotfl: Good that means I've saved £20 to spend in the pub tomorrow.2021 MFW No.18 £9900/£10,000Mortgage at 21.07.20 £178,999 Mortgage today £150,8910 -
Decided to do 4m 37:35 yesterday. Did 14m today 12mins pace. Decided against going to running club seeing as I have already busted the 10% rule wide open:staradmin5k - 00:27:46:staradmin 10k - 00:57.03:staradminHalf - 02:01:15:staradmin5M - 00:44:07:staradmin0

You can view most of what you see on the forums with a good dose of caution, but these two are well worth taking note of!Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j
