This is apparently common in NYRR - which is why those removing chips will not take ones handed to them by competitors - they must ONLY remove the one from the shoe

Day off running tomorrow ;) Then 21 over the weekend. Even more next week. Will have to see how low 40's per week feels. Still to heavy/fat and away from decent fitness to worry about speed work. Thats what 10 mile races are for anyway aren't they ;)

Help, I am seriously losing the plot and obviously don't look at my Garmin enough when I'm running not-tagged-smiley-10181.gif

That was supposed to be 6 miles - I set out and instantly slipped into Simply Laa Laa land. ***ooh my legs feel heavy, hmm I think I need to look at replacing these trainers, my chest is tight I think I'm wheezy, quick there are some runners coming - smile, look as though you're having fun, doesn't the sea look lovely, what a funny looking dog, oh, goody puddles and mud time for a splosh, etc, etc***

Got home, downloaded data - bl00dy Garmin it's gone wrong again. Hasn't it??? Ooops no, I put that loop in when it was too dark to run through the country park - I wasn't meant to run both loops. So ......... 7 miles it is for today. :rotfl:

I've noticed during the higher mileage that when I'm doing the 2 lap runs, on the 2nd lap I often cant remember having been there before and start questioning whether I'm actually on the 1st lap.

I must have zoning out on a completely new level..:p
