I'm sliding towards Woodbank myself for tomorrow even if it does mean leaving at 5am to get there on time. I dread to think what their idea of a flat course is though
Dont know where the south manchester one is so i'm ignoring that one
Still not run this year and there was talk of me winning my heat in the great fetch mile tomorrow lunchtime. Somehow a 6:45 mile seems a tad too fast right now but at least that one is indoors.Debt free Nerd number 1122 LBM Jan 2009 Debt @ LBM £40,086.88 (14/01/09)

just got a email that Wimbledon Park Run is cancelled.
I had a really good week funny enough, although yesterday was a treadmill day. I used a gym at work but it just made me realise how much I hate treadmills.
Today is a rest day, but I am due to do a 5m and 11m over the weekend. It is pretty icy down here and it is difficult to plan which way to go. But I am determined to get out there.
Becky, just looking at your mileages if you carry on like that you will be running marathons as warm ups to ultras!
Chickadee, glad to see your training is going ok, this weather dont help much.....and VLM seems too close!!
Good Runnings to all.

Roundshaw isnt too far away if you have a car...or Richmond is just a few stops along on the 170 bus from Wimbledon

I have every faith in getting their Becky
Cant guarntee i get there in time though as i'm at the mercy of the morons on the road. The time of day should be in my favour although if its big below zero i will not be doing my usual motorway cruising speed. 150 miles away and a 2.5 hour drive by sat nav. Lord knows how long it'll take tomorrow. Leavig at 5am should be adequate, will aim to park where i usually do for stockport 10 down at the bottom of the hill.
Also Ultras are fun50km races aren't that much further than a marathon.

 Sounds like a long drive for a 5k Kms!!!
If you make it though you'll have to race against me which could result in a new pb for you (and possibly one for me)0 -
KMS isnt driving just for a 5k......he has a whole day of athletic endeavour in Manchester.:DGt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Just did a 5 miler at lunchtime. Roughly 43 mins. Not too much ice around. I actually really enjoyed it! Will have to do more of that if ice doesn't clear up round my way. In fact, it may be a good way to pack some extra miles into my week anyway!Running Club targets 20105KM - 21:00 21:55 (59.19%)10KM - 44:00 --:-- (0%)Half-Marathon - 1:45:00 HIT! 1:43:08 (57.84%)Marathon - 3:45:00 --:-- (0%)0
