That felt really good!:D In fact, I had to reign it in a bit after reminding myself it was only supposed to be an easy run.:p

Simply - Dare I say...Not too shabby for someone who was falling apart a couple of days ago!;)
Nice running Rich ....... an easy run :rotfl:

Yes, you dare say it - I can't believe the difference two days makes. I seriously thought that I'd be resting this week - I'm not complaining though! :D

    Becky - you have mail.

Oh brilliant, found my ex-flatmates mapped 5mile run on walkjogrun, now I don't need to do a new one. :D Hopefully I'll get to try it soon. Plan for the rest of the week is the normal 4.24 miles on Friday after work before Xmas party/leaving do and park run on Saturday. I will do it! Even if I have to go and fetch my car that day...

Nice running tirlittan :D Good luck with the 5 miler later in the week!
  • That was handy tirlittan - saves you a job!! Let's just hope your ex-flatmate wasn't too keen on hilly runs ;) Good luck with running the park run the day after your Xmas party - that's real dedication :D

Hmmm, was gonna say, gives me an excuse not to drink too much, then remembered senior management are providing the drinks!! We'll see what happens...but I've missed two park runs now, so not good!

No hills, should be flat as...

New '3 Marathons In A Year' record!

Tesgaye Kebede broke the course record at Fukuoka last Sunday and in so doing notched up the fastest ever average time for 3 marathons in one calendar year. (Actually achieved in less than 8 months)

    London 2:05:20
    Berlin 2:08:35
    Fukuoka 2:05:18

Which gives an average of 2:06:24. Not too bad for a 22 year old....he might be half decent when he grows up!:p

Oh dear, I think the great Gebresellasie should stick to running...

  • I think the Black Park photographers are trying to tell me that I photograph better when either hidden by another runner or from a distance........:p

Just after the start last Saturday (hidden by the leader)

And the finish 1-2-3 (black spec in the distance but at least in the same pic as the winner:D):

Evening - did another run tonight but was quite sluggish due to over pizza consumption - headed out quickly enough but then hit LT and got slooooow so came back early!

Anyway did 4.6 miles in 43:02 or 9:21 mins/mile which I'm happy enough with :D
