31st October - Athens Marathon - The rematch
and that with my 3 halfs in the spring takes up all my money for entrys for the year... ( and then some )..apart from the Cab 10m of cause
Then eyeing up a Ironman in the summer of 2011 only one I can find in Europe in August is the one in Regensburg. Germany... But thats vey far in the distance anyway so not to worry about it yetCabbage Patch 09 - 10m - 1hr 06mLeicester 09 -1/2 - 1h 26m0 -
How long should a warm-up be?
You guessed A couple of minutes light joggingYou guessed wrong, the correct answer is… Warming up is unnecessary
ER !!!!!!?
What sports or activities should you do on a running rest day?
You guessed DIY, gardening or household jobsYou guessed wrong, the correct answer is… Nothing
Er they dont live in the real world?
Well I was in france last week not much running done and my mother fattened me up(she thinks lunch should comprimise of soup, steak & chips +dessert :wall: ). Not all her fault mind as I over indulged in the bourgelais nouveau!
My running club has me running 9min miles instead of my 10-11min miles ( and im still running in their wake!) Always feel liked I have worked hard after a session with them though.

No running for me yesterday and probably not for the rest of the week. I have car trouble and sorting that out will take most of my time. I'm off to my friends tonight in Herefordshire to see if he can help. Can't take much with me as I'll probably be coming back on a train and then we have a match on Sunday...:(
Just noticed your sig Becky - Well done!!!! :T:T:TDEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

Just 3 out 101 challengers now not put in an appearance yet!
No pressure, BT (blame the sparky;)) and Poor (where are you?).
Well, I have another cold now! Can't believe it. I hardly ever get colds and this is my second in a month. I'll have to make it a last minute descision tomorrow. Very frustrating. Maybe because I ran in shorts and a single layer running top (long sleeved though) on Wednesday morning at 6. Mayeb I'll have to start layering, though my wife already complains about the amount of laundry I generate.Running Club targets 20105KM - 21:00 21:55 (59.19%)10KM - 44:00 --:-- (0%)Half-Marathon - 1:45:00 HIT! 1:43:08 (57.84%)Marathon - 3:45:00 --:-- (0%)0 -

Felt strong enough tonight so just another easy 10K tomorrow and then its fingers crossed that the weather behaves on Sunday.
Its certainly going to be chilly but it was looking calm a couple of days ago, now the winds seem to be appearing on the forecasts.
Ah well, you cant choose the weather so may as well just get on with it.:p

It was my *favourite* hills for me todayI last ran this route three weeks ago and strangely enough I did it then in 00:59:08 (09:50/mile). I am pleased to say, however, that this was not consistent as three weeks ago my mile splits were:
10:23, 09:26, 10:09, 09:37, 10:04, 09:22 and today they were
10:03, 09:31, 10:13, 09:32, 10:15, 09:29. See? Not at all consistent :rotfl:
Bad luck on getting another cold beer tins - my OH has just started sneezing and coughing so I'm taking lots of extra Vit C in an attempt not to catch it.
Well done on your debtfreeness Becky :T
