I was just about to say that it was a much more pleasant evening for running tonight than last night - mild and a light breeze, absolutely perfect!:D

    ...and then I saw Linda's comment!:rotfl:

Have you got your own micro climate over there?;) [Run in the direction of Pudsey and you'll be fine!:D]

    Nice running, Simply.....another 'consistent' effort!:D

    Mon - 1 m wu/wd 8:13, 7:50, 7:45 - total 5 miles
    Tues - 6.2 miles tempo 54:20 8:46 mins/mile
    Weds - 6.2 miles recovery 63:00 10:10 mins/mile

A nice solid recovery run for me :D

Thats some good tempo running Simply on the back of yesterdays efforts!!

Hope the foot is getting there Uk :o, we noticed that about your times - I suspect the slower bit was the inclines taking effect and then you recovered for the last 12k - I think that would have been 3:45 easily on a nicer course with nicer circumstances - but it all can put to the test next time :D, what's your next race btw?

Linda - get out there!!! :p (Its not that bad once you get out honest!)

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

The half?? I hope they change the course this year - its was a bit annoying last year with some steep downhills into sharp corners

You'll be great with a bit of enforced rest behind you as well! I can feel another pb coming on :D

Born on the same day with very similar PBs - cant be having him running 2 2:40 marathons and a 2:43 this year without having a crack at matching him!;)
