I too hate wearing glasses so I have the continous wear for 30 days ones and they are fab. Also great for getting up to see to the baby in the night!

  • Blimey, 1hr 37 for a first half???? that's pretty impressive, I bet she's having you on and has secretly been running for a few years.

My Garmin packed up tonight, couldn't switch the damn thing on at all, so went out without it, which is probably not such a bad thing sometimes, but I did a loop that I knew was around 4m, I've just checked it on mapmyrun and it was 4.23m so I'm a happy girl, I wouldn't say it felt comfortable but it wasn't hard, so I've done 15 miles this week now, not bad to say its my first week running again since July!

Hubby has fixed the Garmin, he found the troubleshooting guide on the net, pressed a few buttons and it works! hurrah!!!

And.......the Baileys diet is WORKING!!!! I have lost 2lbs this week yipee!!!

Well done on a good run Millie (and the weight loss!)

I went out tonight and di 8.5 miles in 1:27:06 or 10:15 mins/mile - was fine but had to cut short as I was caught short and really needed to pee ;)

Anyway a nice run, a few odd coughs but nothing painful at all - am worried how tomorrow's race will go though as I'm not sure I'm up to speedwork yet so may duck out and do a 10k slow instead will have to see how I feel...

Maybe, but I was a long way short of 1:37! You were just a few minutes behind me and coming down with a lurgy.

But its all relative right :D:D, just thought it might make you feel a bit better about being 'happy for her' :p

You silly man - at least you remembered to put them on though unlike the pants incident!!!!

What time are you leaving for London? Also tomorrow is the Lord Mayors show I think (not a few weeks ago as I thought) so we can pop down to the river for that if its dryish :D
  • Anyone park running in the morning? Wimbledon? If not, I'll go back to Roundshaw for a torturous 5k training run - I still find that route soooo hard!
