No chance - I did my best to get out of going to the London expo (and that was free and had more companies) - its just a way to flog you stuff you could buy cheaper elsewhere!!!
I looked at the 'seminars' - what should I eat, how should I taper...lots of rubbish that guru will tell you for free (and he'll actually tell you the truth rather than trying to flog you something in the bargin
)
(sorry if I'm cynical but I do work in marketing!)0 -
I don't think any running shoe is designed to be waterproof as they have to be breathable, I just go with it tbh, don't dodge puddles and just accept the wet feet while I'm out
btw its peeing down now!Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00 -

Honestly who needs to do a cross country now eh!?!
Still holding out a very faint hope that runners world will be ringing me tomorrow to let me know I've got into that super six thing but considering the storm of trouble I always cause on their site I doubt :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Booo I wanted to meet Paul Evans

They might send you a 'Get Well Soon Card'.:p
Its interesting to ponder what the difference would be between:
a) running 1.5 laps of a running track in normal conditions and
b) smothering the track with 3-4 inch of mud and then adding 12 inch of standing water on top and then running the same 1.5 laps
because that was basically what we did on Sunday!
And with that Running Show they have the cheek to charge £9 entry fee! I have no doubt that plenty will pay though.....:rolleyes:Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j
