Feral youths

Hi I was reading in the Daily mail about the family whose son was involved in the abuse of a woman and her family. . The woman eventually killed her daughter and herself. Well they are complaining that they are now subjected to abuse.

Although I dont condone people abusing others I can not help but feel that in some way this is payback. Something has got to be done regarding feral youths who think its their right to destroy peoples homes and verbally, physically abuse.

Lets hope that the mothers suicide and death of her daughter are not in vain.

  • I understand what you are saying but surely it is not acceptable to make anyone's lives a misery whether they "deserve it" or not? Two wrongs don't make a right etc etc.

think this is better taken to discussion time, I cannot see the relevance to money saving.

To say two wrongs do not make a right is almost like saying these people should not be punished.
The lady and her daughter are dead because of the terror she had to put up with from this gang, but are the police going to charge them with murder, i don't think so, they will probably get off scot free. If the authorities can't touch them in this case perhaps those that live in the area should, how else will they learn right from wrong.

  • As someone who is having to sell up due to youths breaking my windows and general abuse Id say that some justice has to be served. The youths dont respect the law or a persons right to a family life.
I can relate to that poor womans plight and the effect it has on your family . My partner lives on his nerves waiting for another brick to hit our window.

So if somebody murders your family you wouldn't want them to go to jail?

You should see some of the kids round here...no wonder they drive people to despair and worse.

In my road there's a housing association property amongst mainly privately owned ones...the owner sold it to them some years ago. The current occupants are a single mother with 5 boys from 5 different dads, the boys are aged 17-24 and there's an 11 year old. The mother doesn't give a toss what they get up to. They have screaming fights with rival thugs in the middle of the night, at least once a week. They come out raging with knives and machetes. They deal drugs, and the mother (at least) is an addict. There's a live in girlfriend of one lad just now who's also an addict. The police are there 4 times a week, but nothing gets done.

Seems they were rehoused from a hostel, having been "hounded out" from previous addresses. Three of the lads and the mother have ASBOs while the 11 yr old is in the street all hours of the night and hardly ever goes to school.

The older 4 lads have nine kids between them, though of course none of them ever work.

What chance have decent people got when scumbag families like these are totally untouchable and completely above the law?
  • I feel so sorry for that poor woman and her daughter , nobody in authority will do anything
i had some similiar trouble where i used to live and the authoritys hands were tied it seems , and every day was a nightmare but nobody would do anything

Eventualy i moved , i didnt have to but for my sanity i did because there was one particular lad who really annoyed me so much that if i hadnt moved i was scared i would take the law into my own hands and probably been jailed

Natural selection. They will never have any aspirations, success or happiness because they are simply brain dead. And I do believe that some people are just born evil - I have no sympathy and couldn't care less about them.

Haven't read the article but it sounds to me like a community thats had enough, and thats what will start to happen if parents don't take responsibility for their kids and the police fail to act when families are asking for help. Someone will take the law into their own hands and who wants that.
