Thank you for your greetings. I shall enjoy being part of this family, I feel I know you all already, and you are so friendly and chatty :-) How lovely to hear about the little baby and her family Chalky 75. I taught all my children to knit, yes, including the boys :-) Two of my girls are left handed, but I taught them right handed. Only one of my daughters has kept it up, she is one of my left handed girls. Another daughter does a lot of crochet and she has just made two blankets for the old peoples home my dad is in. I like to take my knitting or crochet with me when I go anywhere because it's a good way to get people to talk to you. Very often, as soon as I get the needls out, someone usually starts asking questions :-)

Sorry me again. Earlier I posted on another knitting thread on here. I have lost my link to a knitting forum I go on. I can't remember the full name of it, and I can't find it in Google, I know it has CRAFTY or CRAFT in part of it's name. I think it's run by a lady called Jacquie who lives in the USA and one of the moderators is Melody Yarns. It has a lot of other crafts and stuff on the forum as well. If any of you know the forum I'm talking about, would you mind giving me the link please. Thanks :-)

ISOM - this is a tea cosy done in stocking stitch which might be good to adapt to moss stitch, see what you think. You need to scroll down past socks, baby hat to see it.

Didn`t realise it was so late, off to get some shut eye.

thanks for all the kind words for my clown, i'm really proud of him. kids want him to stay and live with us, but i told them he's been promised to some children who need him more than they do.
will have a look at the links for the crochet tutorial another day, not up to it tonight, just spent the last seven hours in hospital, they wanted to keep me in, but i have a real fear of hospitals, so in end they agreed to let me come home, and have crisis team here tommorrow. will prob end up back under the pychiatrist too.
appolonia, pudsy looks great, started mine this morning, got as far as the second arm

    Good morning everyone.

Shaz - (((Hugs))) to you, hope the crisis team meeting goes well. Your clown is fantastic - well done!

Salome - a warm welcome to you and thank you for your lovely comments about us! Hope you enjoy it here.

Apollonia - have just approved you for the Wooligans - looking forward to seeing your photos! You're our 100th member on there! Thanks for the Pudsey bear link - I'm going to look for yellow in wool stash right now. I can see how Chalky was tempted to stop rippling for him - he's gorgeous!

Orkney Star - lovely photos of your work!

Elaine - thanks for the link. I love the tea cosy pattern and have added it to my never-ending list of things to make!

    Maytaurus - are you OK?

LC Wilson - hope you and your family are well?

Thanks for all the comments about my blog. I hope it soon starts to look as professional as Chalky's!

Well, a little more rippling was carried out last night. As I'm not going to have enough of one of the three colours in DGS's lapghan, I'm just rippling in two colours for the middle bit, then will go back to the three colours for the last bit. I hope it all works out well! Not being in the UK means I can't just pop out to the local wool shop to pick up another ball of wool! Perhaps that's just as well, because I'd buy more than one ball - and I really don't need any more wool!

Anyway, as usual at this point in the morning, the kettle is playing my song. See you all later.

Re’ I keep waking up with the sniffles which I think is caused by the dust’
You might have a dust allergy, I have, which makes not being able to get rid of it everyday even more annoying!( have you tried taking antihistamine, ... ?)
I daren’t buy any more yarn ... I’ve got enough to keep me going for months!
I did buy some of these buttons & toggles for the little purses I’ve made (and will be making)

Salome that sounds like an interesting site, if you find it let us know.

ISOM hope Isoke is ok now, they're such a worry aren't they, but worth it!

Shaz hope today goes well for you.

psso good link, thanks. Did you see down right hand side link for lol cats? My DS1 sends me loads of these, now I know where he gets them from.

I've got some sort of virus at the moment, courtesy of brother, and not really feeling like making anything. Hope it goes away soon.

    Love to everyone xxx
