Blackcrow I think most of us have all found out at some time or other that not all the forums are as warm, caring, cuddly, supportive and lovely as this one.
As Elaine says the written word is far easier to hurt whether intentional or not. My answer is to hardly ever stray from here on MSE a bit like if it ain't broke don't fix it but it works for me. Hope you all have a great day with sunshine in your lives.
Knocking up some teddies today on the knitting machine when I get a chance.
Cuddles are free today - come on take as many as you like

Hi everyone - I'm still here but in a happy blur of family and, above all, a delightful permanently smiling granddaughter! I say that having just heard that she has kept her Mum awake for most of the night! As she is still breastfeeding there's not much anyone else can do, but we'll keep her occupied later so that DIL can get some sleep.
I wa sad to see that Blackcrow has been upset by the forum - it's always a shock when we think our own little world has any nastiness in it, but hopefully it's not this forum. As Elaine has said - we're all busy knitting and so on.
Havng said that, I've not been near my wool and don't think I will get near it for a few days, but we're having such fun with the family.
I'll add the update to my blog later on today. Thank you so much, Jean, for doing it for me.
Well, this is just a quickie but I'll try and pop in later on.
Hope you all have a great day.

morning all, have had a bit of a struggle logging in in order to chat - does that tell me something???
oh well a busy day today - i am going to see a friend and we are going to southall to buy spices and do hundreds of other things whilst we are at it. i have been stocking up all the things that i need to do in that part of the world for today, so we should be busy but have loads of fun.
chalky, i am not sure if i asked you for your address, i cant remember if i did it or just thought about doing it, but i have about 50 squares, so if that does not put you offffffff....
other than that, i am "hooked" pardon the terrible pun on doing little beanies and oxfam jumpers and when my hands get tired a few squares go down very well. i am going to have to break out of this habit and do some loving hands stuff very soon!!!
hope that everyone is very well and am proud to be part of this thread with all the good work, kind words and love and kindness shared here - you are all so wonderful, i am so happy that i am a small part of this.
have a wonderful day everyone.

Hi
My dad has come through this lates TIA okish. He was a wake whe I saw him yesterday, and knew who we were. His sight isn't brilliant, but that's usual after he's had one of these, it takes a while for him to get some focus back. obviously each TIA he has, he gets weaker. His speech is very minimal now. Thanks for all your kind words, hugs and prayers :-) much appreciated.
The new mum got her blanket for babe on Sunday. I forgot to take a pic of it (sigh). Her baby is georgeous, saw her for the first time Sunday. I've nearly done th back of the little vest I'm making for one of the earlier born babes. They are all growing so quick. The first of the three new ones is just coming up to 3 mths now, though he still looks a little dot of a thing lol.
Last year we looked after a friend of my 15yr old. She had been thrown out of her home, and had nowhere to go, so stayed here till she could be sorted out. She was 16 then. She's now expecting, she's living with her boyfriend. I'm hoping to get some things knitted for her little one as well. Could do with another pair of hands lol.
Have a blessed and prosperous day. Hugs to all in need. ((((hugs)))) Love you all.

morning all. The upset was on os ...I missed it thankfully but all got very nasty. I think there problem is two fold - we feel we "know" people and invest alot on people we actually dont know because like any community we get involved; then theres the fact that its an iternet community and people may be less careful about what they say because of this...a bit like picking your nose in the car!
Anyway...lets hope it soon blows over...nice quiet day for me today hopefully with some wooly stuff along the way! Lodger will be moving rest of stuff out on Sat so I will have my wee flat back. Am in the process of sorting money out and preparing for work situation which will be done by end of May now ...for definate!
Chalky hope youre settling in. Enjoy time with family Miol-pleanty of time for wooly stuff! F1 hope youre ok? morning all
beautiful weather here
thanks for the pm chalky. hopefully ill get them ready to post off to you tomorrow or the next day.
still got the sewing machine out but doing mending still not good works.
blackcrow i read your post yesterday and was also confused i thought someone had upset you in here and the posts had been removed. i hope you are happier now. we very rarey have fallings out in this thread. as has already been commented we are usually much to busy to be unkind. i find the world runs better on kindness and think the people that have gravitated towards this thread all feel the same, we all apprechiate the amount of hard work that goes into projects (whether for good causes or personal projects) and are happy to praise good work and support valiant efforts and when things go wrong either in life or a project we are here for each other. so please dont feel like you cant show us your lovely work or be yourself in here.but also bear in mind it is a public forum that anyone can read or post in and mischief makers and unkind people do sadly sometimes delight in making people unhappy by posing unkind things luckily they dont tend to bother this thread. Im not aiming that comment at MSE in particular as ive not read anything that went on over the weeekend but ive read about 'trolls' on other boards and know their purpose in life is causing upset and problems where ever they can.

Oh and even if my work is sometimes not quite perfect I still share it because I am proud to have helped someone else out. Give out only love and kindness and that's just exactly what you get back.
