Late shout from me today, but better late than never..........well maybe.

Been reading through the posts to catch up but brain isn`t letting info sink in - SIGH. Too much on my mind.

However, think the big boys bootees are very cute Jean. Shame your OH wants `blokey colours` - spoilsport - he could model them for us.:)
Don`t know which part of Ecosse you come from but up here the local word for a cuddle or a hug is BOSIE. I`ve been giving a wee man lots of bosies since he came home ;) so I reckon a group of teddies is a Bosie of bears, as they are so cuddly and huggable.
(It`s also one of the classes in DD`s nursery, the Bosie Bears - so it MUST be the correct official term :p)
Bet Kathy is giving her little Summer lots of bosies as well.

Love the lapacuddly, it will keep someone`s knees nice and cosy Chalky. Hope you don`t get buried under all the squares which will be coming your way.
By the way does your Golly have stripy trousers. I used to have one with red and white stripes when I was little and DD`s 1&2 (twins) had as well but theirs had blue stripes.

Blackcrow, you have made me feel so guilty. I`ve got seeds lying here waiting to be planted. Keep telling myself the pansy seeds I collected last year need some compost in the envelope with them to get them to grow :D - might actually be better putting them in a seed tray too. Lots of packets of seeds - no enthusiasm to deal with them.

ISOM - cars - just DON`T mention them. I`m fed up with `em. The one I usually run about in has been `under repair` for a week. It came home from the garage not long ago and developed another fault. DS reckoned he could fix it, so that would only mean buying the parts  they were dear enough. However when he was on days off - it was raining (we don`t have a garage for him to work in) and yesterday and today when it was dry, yep you`ve guessed it, he had to work. So it has been sitting in various bits on the drive. Have been using the other car but it had a trip to the garage on Monday and the nice man there told me it would cost £195 to fix it. It only needed a small part but it would cost £108 for it alone:eek: Told him I`d have to think about that and came home. Told DS what the problem was and he made a phone call to the local dismantlers, he used to work there, and he got the necessary part for £25. and it looked almost new, took off the useless bit, replaced it with the `new` bit in 10 minutes - job done. Wish the other car was as easy to fix.:(

Well that`s my moan for today.
Hope those with relatives who are poorly feel better soon and any of you down in the dumps or in black holes feel brighter soon too.
Hugs to all who need one, especially you Blackcrow as requested.

Hi everyone - I'm still here but it's very hectic and almost impossible to get near the computer! We're having the most fantastic time, though, and I shall miss them all dreadfully when they have to leave. The weather has been wonderful so we've been out most days - you should see the state of the house now! Housew**k has definitely taken a back seat but who cares when you're having fun! Little Summer is gorgeous and full of smiles even though she is teething, poor thing.

Jean - those booties are indeed legendary!

Chalky - hope you're having a great time with your family.

(((Hugs))) to everyone - I'll catch up with you all when I can.

PSSO- bosie bears it is - means bosom by the way (the really auld Scot's was womb).
you keep getting awe the bosies - the more the merrier
CHALKY - don't worry I got your email.
MOILIERE - yummy cuddles for you - want me to do the update on Monday morning? Taking the lapdog with me, so no problem - not sure when your visitors are going?
F1 - Getting excited? Lovely new home to move to, how wonderful is that, hope it all goes smoothly.
Mrs Moneypenny - you mentioning the chookie cardies has just reminded me I need to update the spreadsheets to include them as well as the wheelchair socks/wraps etc, just added that job to my today's list.
Only four teddies left to sew up YIPEE then I can stuff the eight I have and that's another job done, quiet afternoon I have a heap of typing to do so I had better get a start on that, hope to pop back a bit later on.
SOCK KNITTER - you could have saved me some of that vienetta (SP)- bet it was delish, think I will add that to my TO BUY in the UK list right now.
If I have missed you by name it's not intentional, but I really do have to get a wiggle on or I will miss the flamin boat on Sunday they way I am dithering about.
Hope the sun is shining on your bit of the world
