Hi everyone.
Welcome to Seea78 - good to have you with us. I hope you enjoy it here!
Maytaurus - good to hear from you. Thank you for some fantastic links! Where on earth do you find them all?
Chalky - so glad you arrived back safe and sound.
Pippa - if you're reading this, have a great trip.
Shez - well done; you're a braver gal than me!
Well, DS2 and his lovely family arrived here after a long day - five hours on the boat and another five or so hours on the road. It's absolutely lovely to have them here and we are really going to enjoy their company. The baby is gorgeous - really smiley, chatty and very mobile - she doesn't like sitting still for long so we shall have to find lots for her to do! DIL has made lots of little pots of homemade food for her which they transported in an icebox and which are currently in the freezer, all labelled. It must have taken her ages to do, bless her! We were all tired out last night but still had time for a couple of beers before bed. I think we will probably take it easy today and just take them around the local village, then plan some trips for the week.
Well, will catch up with you later. I'm going to take a cuppa back to bed!
