Hi everyone. Just a quickie before I have a shower. We are almost ready for DS2's visit and he's on the phone to his Dad right now talking about the trip once he gets off the boat, so we're all very excited as you can imagine!

Sockknitter - I've just had a thought about your bad dreams. Did you have any medication for swine flu? I only ask because I've heard that the tablets can sometimes cause bad dreams. It might be worth you having a word with the doc. Sorry if I've got you muddled up with someone else, though!

Hope Chalky has arrived home safely.

Well, I'm well and truly exhausted now so will try and sit down reasonably early and try not to doze off on the sofa tonight!

    Have a great evening, everyone.

hi kathy, have a great holiday with your family. no it wasnt me that had meds for swine fllu, bad dreams are prob as a result of alcohol withdrawal as isom said, if things dont improve i'll certainly have a word with gp next time i have to see him.
finished the lacy scarf for mrs moneypenny's choir boys, and started another pair of socks, this time for me, very girly, in pastel colours with a frilly top.

Hi Jean - yes, please, but only if it's no trouble. I'm really grateful, especially as you are busy, too. I feel if I rush it I'll make silly mistakes! I should be fine for all the other weeks, though; surely life will calm down for me at some point?! Don't forget photos of your teds!

Well, we still haven't sat down yet but are determined to get at least an hour on the sofa. DS2 and DH have gone over the route through France but we've told him to phone us if he gets stuck. It seems easy when you've done the trip a few times but this will be a first for DS2!

I just hope I can get to sleep tonight - I'm starting to get really excited about seeing them all now!

    Sock-knitter - sorry I got it wrong! I wasn't sure.

Anyway, will catch up with you all tomorrow.

chalky hope you are home safely - I am a bit confused yet as to who lives where!!!

sorry to be a pain but i have some questions:o

My squares may only be very plain will that be ok?
    Are crochet squares allowed?
have i missed the deadline for Chalky's squares since she is here? or there?
can someone tell me roughly the number of stitches for chalky's squares and Mrs Twins squares please?

I was helping my cleaner ( no I am not rich!!! just not able!) today to re-arrange things in my bedroom and my wool stash is worse(or should that be better) than i thought!! but on the downside is i have something like 10 half finished projects!!!
