    Morning all,

Sorry for not being around for the last couple of days, Ds1 has really been suffering with his chicken pox, he is covered head to toe and not coping well at all. They have started to heal over a bit this morning so I think he's over the worst now.:)

Mioliere have a wonderful time with your family this week.

Salome thinking of you, hugs for your dad.

Chalky hope you have had a safe journey home.

Hi Maytaurus thanks for all the links will have a look through when I get a mo.

Well belly is grumbling so off for some brekkie.

Have a good week end all, hugs for everyone.:D:D:D

morning all, hope everyone is well, nice and sunny here for a change.
maytaurus, thanks for the lovely links, i love the baby jacket, i may have a go at that. as for socks i prefer to do them in the round, no sewing up :). well done shehhy on the bungee jump, i have a large amount of things here to send to you that me and my mum have done, just need to get my head straight, and i'll get myself down to the post office with it.
onlygirl, hope your ds is on the mend, i know how miserable they can get with chicken pox, its the itching that drives them crazy.
tootifrooti, my squares have been plain too, well done on finding all that hidden stash
    hugs all

isom, sorry to hear the work situation wont be sorted now til may. we're all here to support you whenever you need us, (((hugs)))
i have bought lots of nice squashes, all different fruits with barley. unfortuanatly feeling more down at the mo, but doubt that has to do with cutting down the alcohol, more to do with the stresses of life, and feeling lonely and isolated.
    hugs

    hi all :) :hello:
I've just got my knitting out again and have been looking at the simple, but helpful things I can knit - I am basically a beginner - I have some idea, but I think squares and blankets are my limit at the moment. Trying to work out where to send my squares to, where is the best? I'm attempting a preemie blanket now - although I think this will be a practice one lol!! Hopefully knitting will also help me not smoke as much or eat as much :D

Looking forward to reading more :)

    Afternoon all :hello:

Have'nt managed to come in for a couple of day's had a lot going on.
DS1 has gone back home now, so I have been getting the house sorted before we go away.
The cases are on the spare bed and have been packed, then unpacked and are now in the process of being packed again ;)
We are sailing from Southampton and not flying so we have more luggage allowance soooo what to take
Not taking too much posh stuff as I have made that mistake in the past, don't end up wearing most of it;)

Chalky - parcel sent to you this morning hope your journey was uneventful
Shelley - yes I think you are mad as well....brave.... but mad :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Kathy - have a lovely week with your family
May - thanks for the links but I dare'nt look at them or I will never get sorted today :o
Salome - sorry to hear about your Dad hope he improves soon
Jean - good luck with the teddy sewing up, I hate that job

I have my knitting bag ready so I can knit on the way down to Southampton, and then again on the way back up home.
We get back on the 5th May and drive across to West Sussex we will stay the night with DS1,DIL and DGD's then come back home on the 6th.

Friends OH has just popped in, its the first time we have seen him since my friend died last year, so I must go, will try and pop in later to post my update.
