morning all
may - it was lovely to see you posting the other day, hope that you are okay.
isom - glad that the work situation is sorting itself out. by the way, did you say that you had ordered the book with 200 crocheted squares - if so, what do you think of it? i thought that i might order it, if recommended, as it is on special at amazon at the moment. anyone else that can recommend it, please let me know.
kathy - you are a trouper, i am so glad that i am not going through all of that, just having the house painted, the kitchen fitted, the garden done etc, the leaks fixed were enough for me, and they were not half as bad as you have had. good luck with the remaining works.
shaz - i hope that the boys are back in school today so that you can have a bit of a break!
everyone else - hi, hope that you are enjoying this lovely weather, do you know, its been weeks since we had rain here, and i am loving it!
oh well, time to do some jobs (not crafty ones either) and tidy the flat and all those other boring things i would rather not do!
have a fabulous day everyone.

morning all, we have sun here for a change, so i'm going to get the bedding changed and into the machine, then rest of day is knitting, or entertaining ds, no school for the forseeable future, was the latest call from the school, at least the other one is in school, helps they not in same school sometimes, and it is easier with just one at home.
mrs moneypenny, i spend days running around then wonder where the time went when not much has been achieved. trying to get the second lacy scarf knitted and finished in time, so i can post them together, can you pm me your address please
hugs all

Morning - got 10 minutes free so have popped in to say hi to everybody,
Maytaurus - how do you expect me to finish the jobs, get packed and away while you post such lovely links ? So shall spend lunch time today having a quick look at them then bookmark them for a later date
We have sunshine, so like you Shazrobo I shall have a line full of washing/drying/ironing in no time.
My great neice has now got two dolls and when I spoke to her on Sunday (her birthday) she asked if I could do them some clothes. Took yesterday off from charitiy things and made her these instead.
So its back to some charitiy machine knitting today and see how I fair.
Hope you all have a great day, Kathy you could always just hide from the renovation work, a day on the beach at Saint Jean, go buy some seafood at Sables d'Olonne? There again as you have family arriving perhaps its best to really have a bash at it this week. Back sometime I am sure.

the two patchwork quilts were meant to be identical......run out of some of the material - fingers crossed that she will not be noticing that tho!The Hooligan Wooligan – age 9¾

Jean - those cots are stunning; what a lucky niece! Well done - I can't believe you got them both done in a day!
Thanks to everyone for their moral support during my trials and tribulations here! It means a great deal - I get fed up moaning at DH (for not managing to do it all instantly, cleanly and without any noise whatsoever!), so having somewhere to sound off really helps! We seem to be running round in circles - every job needs something else doing before it can be started. We've just had to rescue a lizard from our normally comatose cat - trying to catch it was the liveliest he's been in weeks, and quite funny to watch, but, of course, we couldn't let the lizard suffer so the cat was removed, bearing a very indignant look on his face!
The sun is beaming here today - lovely and warm again. I've taken some photos of the sunrise which I will post, hopefully, a bit later on today.
ISOM - good news on the job front; I'm so pleased for you. Like DPixie, I'd love to know what you think of that book.
Mrs Moneypenny and Jean - make sure you both take some time off now and again!
Shaz - enjoy your day.
Well, back to the grindstone. DH has been vacuuming because the dust makes me cough and sneeze - he's finished now, so I'd better go and do something useful.
