Ohhh, poor you Kathy. Losing your `bolt hole` and having all that mess happening too. Never mind, it will be worth it in the end - as I`m sure your DH keeps telling you as well. My one used to tell me ` Well it`s what you wanted dear.` So it was always my own fault ;)

Been up for a while, so am off to bed again as I must try to get some sleep before the grandchildren invade us.

Back later in the day, meantime have a good day everyone and as Brucie says Keeeeeep Knitting !! (or crocheting).

Hi Elaine - hope you managed to get some sleep, especially as you have the grandchildren coming! Have a lovely time with them.

I'm sure I'll survive the work on my 'bolt hole' but I do hate the disruption and will be glad when it's finished!

    Morning all,
Well the only word to describe how I feel this morning is ....... PANTS! I had an upset tummy sunday night, and it seems to have been getting gradually worse in that I developed a sore throat and aches last night, shortly followed by a headache! Supposed to be at dentist today but had to postpone as I am not sure what I've got and don't want to pass on! I feel hot but temp is reading 99F so not high!
Anyway, moan over, I finished another vent hat last night and did my first Christmas stocking....might knit a few more today and then have a sewing up session later in the week.
Kathy, I hope you survive the work on the bolt-hole! Hang on in there :).
Ok, hope the rest of you are ok, and take care all of you.

Anyway, did a little more on DGS's ripple blanket but I was watching the new David Attenborough programme so I had to keep putting it down. The ripple blanket is really easy but you do have to concentrate on the stitch count.

Me too, but didn't like the killing bits. Still, managed to finish all the fiddly bits on the lacey cardi during Corrie, probably cos OH was out of the room and not nattering on (sad life I know).

Sounds like you have a trying couple of days ahead of you Kathy - hope it goes smoothly.
Hope you feel better soon OS.
I've done a small pile of Xmas stockings (sewed them up last night) for Mag from the Stonehaven group who also wants some things for their sale and a bit of my ripple blanket but seem to be spending a lot of time faffing. I'm going to try and take a couple of pics and get my parcel off to Lou today. Wish me luck with parcels2go!

  • I'm not allowed to post a picture of my Pudsey Bear because I am a new user :(.

I searched FAQs but I can't find any info on how long I need to wait/how many posts to make before I have full use of the boards.
