Hi everyone - I'm sat waiting in the sun for Chalky!
DPixie - have a great day! On a money-saving note, you mentioned phoning France. Just in case you're not on a deal that gives you free international calls, here's a link to a site that enables you to make international calls at huge discounts. Phoning France, for example, is charged at half a pence per minute. http://www.discountdial.co.uk/index2.php
I used to use it all the time from the UK before we got on to one of the free calls deals, and I tell other people there to use it phone us. It's easy to use - you just dial an access number first, then the number you require. The service gives you instructions. Hope this helps.
well, the sun is beaming away again and it's really warm. DH is finally painting all the walls in the hall, then he needs to lay the floor-levelling compound, then we can collect the floor tiles tomorrow and, apart from the usual snagging, the room should be finished within the next few days - voila, another bit of the marathon completed!
I hope to start sewing up my bunnies later on today - all the crocheting has been done and I just need to decide how to finish them off. I think a scarf for DGS's, and flowers for the ones for the girls.
Anyway, hope you all have a great day.
Maytaurus - haven't heard from you for a few days. Hope all is well?
Elaine - hope DD is coping well in these last few weeks.
Pam - hope you are well, too.

SeaKay, lovely sentiments, i agree with every word
can i also add my Congratulations to the Weezls:T
Shaz glad things are calming for you and the boys
DD had EVERYTHING out of the cupboard underthestairs last night, its her textiles exam today so shes got 5 hours to embelish the felted panel shes made (it finaly felted:T) so shes been at my stash of beads buttons ribbons etc. Its quite embarrassing what i have in there but as was proved yesterday it does eventually come in useful;). While rummaging i found a toy kit for a little mouse with a skipping rope that i must have started years ago so i fished that out to finish for the choir boys easter thing its looking quite good, putting the little felt handles on the skipping rope was fiddly but im almost done only have the mopcap left. was quite pleased that all the peices were still there except for one little piece of black felt for the nose but i can easily replace that.
DS loved the theatre performace he went to see last night, when we went to pick him up he was deep in conversation with the cast members, no doubt picking up tips for todays drama workshop hes doing.
nearly had a bad parent moment this morning forgot all about youngest DS school doing a sponsored walk for sports relief till i saw all the cones set up in the playground luckily one of my friends lent me a £1 so he could take part
Suppose id better try and fit everything back in the cupboard now as the lounge looks trashed.
have a good day all.

if anyone wants my addy for choirboy items please pm me, again i cant thank you enough for your kindness in helping and jean ill post a photo of your lovey chooks when ive finished flling them:)SPC~12 ot 124

Most are from Jean Greenhowe pattern books, there are also a few Bazaar knit books with some really nice things in.
I will take some pics later and put them on here to give you a better idea of what I am talking about.
So you know what I was doing last night, I was in a little world of my own:) OH kept coming to the lounge door and just shaking his head and smiling at me sitting on the sofa surrounded with dolls trying to make out what went where.
Off outside for an hour or so to get the garden in some sort of order before the sun disapears, it really needs some TLC.:o
See you later

Pippa -- I am nearly in France to meet Kathy in the sun then a quick visit to Olympia and you this evening to help with the sewing up!!
Lots of good wishes to one and all.
I am just finishing the Easter gifts to send home then I am on a mission for the "one off" charity stall. But I have soo many ideas floating about in my head and we have visitors coming at the wnd of next week so need to be organised by then.
Well I hope everyone is getting ready for a lovely weekend with lots of things going on to lift spirits--- or a glass of vino collapso!!
Love to allTry and do a good deed every day.0 -
Hi everyone.
Well, after a gorgeous sunny morning it has just started raining but doesn't look as if it will last, and at least I managed to get the washing dry.
DH has been cutting-in around all the beams on the ceiling in the hall, which has taken him ages, and he almost wished he had painted the beams white, but they are a very dark brown and will look really good against the white ceiling when it's all done that he's now decided it was worth it. I didnt envy him and I know I wouldn't have had the patience to do it.
I haven't made a start on sewing up the bunnies yet because I've been doing a bit a work and a lot of floor-sweeping and washing, and the day has just flown by. As long as we don't have too much of the vino collapsio this evening, I should get some of it done.
