Good morning,
Nice to see you Maytaurus, lots of hugs to you and doggy friends.
I do hope Isoke is better and can come home today. Lovely quilt, I've got one half finished somewhere, keep promising myself I'll get everything out and finish it.
Good news about the ATM Kathy, what a nightmare.
Not functioning properly as I've hurt my back, don't know how. I'm bent over like a little old woman! Such a nuisance. The stray cat has made itself quite at home, but doesn't seem to be fully house trained, so I guess I'll have to go into town and buy cat litter. It's obviously not a young cat so don't know if it can learn now. Big sigh.
Love to everyone xxx0 -
Sorry, meant to say welcome to MrsTwins, hope you enjoy talking to us.0

Hi Kinsey - hope your bad back goes away soon. The little stray cat has obviously found a good home. If he wees in the same place each time, try putting the litter tray there; if you find him starting to wee on the floor, lift him into the tray. He should soon pick it up! I'm assuming it's a he - apologies to her if I'm wrong!

Good morning.
I wasn't around yesterday as I was shattered. I'm hoping that I'll get used to it as the course progresses.
Not much wooly has gone on but I'll be back at it at the weekend. I have also found another crochet addict in my course tutor :T We have swapped patterns & websites alreadyI'd take my crochety/knitting bag with me but we only get half an hour for lunch so it wouldn't be worth it
ISOM The patchwork is amazing - well done. Glad you're feeling positive re the road to come too xx
May
Kathy Boy I bet you're glad to have sorted the money out! I was thinking about it yesterday afternoon.
I'd better dash & whizz round the kitchen now before getting ready. The dogs are so muddy when they get back from their walks at the moment that I need to clean the fronts of EVERYTHING every day
The biggest of hugs & love to all.

Morning lovelies!! Well a good nights sleep here and new tabs seem to be getting there so when dose doubled next week dreamland will be bliss! Thanks for lovely comments re quilt...its by no means perfect but I'm certain (by 110%) that my mum wil love it. Its been washed and will finish off a couple of bits and then wrap it ready! May it took 2 years to make but (before anyone hyperventiliates!) that is because I dint do anything for aboy three quarters of that time. If I'd done it regularly it could have been done in a couple of months and in my book well worth it...one of my friends (a couple) said they would commission one when they saw it!! If you want to see stuning quilts google amish wedding quilt...every stitch by hand! Now that is stunning! I cheated and used my machine!!
Finally got some hooking done last night - realised that there are 50+ two round sqaures in the babette and I'm a third through! Next week planning a quietish week so hopefully will get a fair bit done!
May big hugs for you...its been deathly quiet here withou Isoke - just feels wrong doesent it? Hope you all (you, oh and hounds) settle soon. Lovely that cosmo lays close to you so you can have a natter. Macey cat is still in a pot in my sitting room as, despite the time gone by, cant part with her yet!
Miol great that the paint sorted...280 alot of dosh so can anderstand the anxiety!
Have a good day SG - like you suspect I'll be exhausted when I go back to work...eventually! Psychologically work/training is good for you! As for half hour hooking not being worth it...surely not?!!! Great that youve found someone with things in common - always makes new experiences easier!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Hi
Good morning to you all :-)
ISOM glad ISOKE is on the mend, and will be home again soon.
Hugs for May xx
Hello to Mrs Twins. Like the name, is there a story to it ??
Sorted my friends crochet out last night. Bless her. She's getting there. I think another Sunday afternoon with me, and she will be sorted. Just needs someone to sit with her when she's doing it.
Started a baby blanket square last night, but didn't get far with it lol. Must get a move on though as it won't be that long to the baby being born. This one's due in April.
Have a blessed and prosperous day. Hugs to all who need them. ((((hugs)))) Love you all.

ISOM - I'm very impressed with the quilt, that's really clever. I wouldn't know where to start! But, I'm always full of good intentions so I will put 'learning to quilt' on my list of things to do, just behind learning to crochet properly. I can feel a visit to Monmouth coming about . . .
I finished the square part of a tiny Sands blanket last week so I'm now knitting the border (it's the sewing on of the border that I hate).

Hi to you all,
May I thank you all for the very warm welcome!
My name 'Mrs Twins' yes there is a story. I am married hence 'Mrs' and I have 'Twins' two beautiful 24 year old Daughters. I use this name on Flickr and also on my Blog.
I started a project in January in Memory of my Grandmother. She lived to the fine age of 103. She was an extremely lucky lady living in very good health until the day she passed away. I thought the world of her. She lived on her own, bathed herself, cooked for herself, even did light laundry.
She knew everything about Politics and History and was so interesting to talk to.
As I have more time on my hands now I felt I wanted to do something in her Memory. I am making 'Sunshine International Blankets of Love'. International because all my friends all over the world on the internet are helping me achieve this by sending me 6" squares. I have already made two blankets which you are quite welcome to pop over and see. These are for Nursing homes and Charities. I realise a lot of Elderly people aren't as lucky as my Grandmother and I felt it would hopefully give them comfort and bring a smile to their faces. (hence the sunshine) if they had a pretty lap blanket.
Unfortunately I tried putting in my link, and I am unable to do this as I'm new?
If you type in Flickr Mrs Twins on the google search
or suesfavouritethings.blogspot.com
You can read all about it. 27th Jan post
Thank you very much. I'll try and visit again.0 -
Mrs Twins - your dear grandmother must have been a lovely lady. I'm sure she would have been very proud of you.
Well, I've been helping DH yet again because the job he was meant to be doing - outside guttering - was rained off. The weather has been dreadful today, really high winds and torrential rain. The sun has come out briefly but the clouds in the sky threaten even more rain. I hope it's better where you all are but I see the UK forecast is pretty horrendous, too. We'll just have to keep an eye on the weather for tomorrow - obviously DH can't fit guttering in wet windy weather!
Always Poor - good luck with the sewing!
