  • Just popping in to say Isoke is home...smelling of vet, very thin but am especially concious of how blessed I am that she is still here...when she started gutteral gurgling I was convinced that was it so while expensive (bet isurance co try to wriggle out of paying!) was worth it. Lentils for me for the rest of the month but shes worth it!

Lovely to see lots of people posting with lots of news and interesting bits and pieces.

Well we had a gentle start and then did our exercises on our way to coffee. I have been worried that I may have missed the almond blossom here as we were first busy with hospital visiting and then with guests so we set off in the Sunshine Bus to check and "Oh my goodness me "-- we have not missed it -- GORGEOUS! Have a peep on my blog for pictures if you would like a little look!
We have in the main been avoiding Tapas and Menu del Dias because both are very gorgeous and very let me think --- oh yes fattening!!! But we made an exception today and it was gorgeous. So now recovering with a little light exercise
Puppy knitting -- nearly there -- well almost there!! Can't wait !!

So love to all and lots of gentle thoughts to anyone feeling a bit sad. Congratulations to all those celebrating

ISOM - so glad you have pusskat back, fingers crossed you have more than lentils for the rest of the month tho'
Welcome MRS TWINS, I have popped in a couple of times into the blog after Chalky and Mioliere raved about it, impressive.
MAYTURUS- lovely post, wish I was a bit more experienced with the crochet to try out the wee patterns.
DH has done the first fix electrics today, so progress being made on the work room, weather is still pants, but I am still cutting out anyway so no problem, worked at the kitchen table, so the mess is everywhere - note to self - CLEAN UP prior to settling in a comfy chair!
MRS MONEYPENNY - I made some of these door stops (approximately 5 inches tall) last year to use for jambing the windows open, I can knock up some for the choir boys sale, they would need finishing at your house tho' - I stuffed mine with cat litter and the postage would be horendous from here - let me know what do you think?
Going for a cuppa then tackle that kitchen clear up, cuddles to everyone, back later perhaps.
    xx

Hello all - im so sorry that Ive been missing for almost 2 weeks now (I wont go on but just to say there is a big black cloud over my head that just wont shift and I just feel sooooooo tired and I just dont know what day of the week it is) but I should not grumble Im a lot better off than some.
My brain is complete mush so my huge apologies that I wont comment individually on too many things but I see that there has been some very sad news for some over the last few weeks - Im so sorry for all your heartaches and a big special hug for May on her loss.

I have to say reading the posts the last week Ive been in tears over Chalky saying bye to her family and May losing her lovely pet (Im doing a lot to boost sales of tissues I can tell you :rotfl:) and then I see that Do from LH lost her husband

Big hugs and loving thoughts to you all xxxxx

On the plus side im pleased Kathy got her money back what a relief ... and ISOM your cat is better (now its your purse that feels poorly!)

Ive managed to get another 4 square blanket made and sewn up and even OH said he thought that it was really good and pretty (oooooooh) and a couple of other bits - hats & buntings - am now doing the rippley blanket from LH - and then I hear chalky squares shouting at me

Ive been de-cluttering- a little something to focus on - my craft corner and my DS's bedroom (in readiness for his birthday next week when Im sure a whole lot more will descend on us) - where does it all come from - I see Mrs M has been busy decluttering (can I ask what is the 100 decluttered items about - very interesting??? - (Im sad I find other people decluttering intriguing!)

Well im off - so sorry once again for not joining in but have been lurking
love to you all and I will pop back soon jaqui xxxx
PS thanks for all your kind thoughts re: DS (I hold my breath every day but fingers crossed just a couple of minor gripes the last few days overall happy)

Jacqui - great to hear from you and that DS is more or less happy. I hope that dark cloud disappears very soon.

Jean - the chicken is fantastic, and what a great idea!

Chalky - you have to treat yourself now and again. Glad the puppies are almost finished - can't wait to see one of your 'bonkers' photos!

MRS TWINS - love your blog and the sunshine blankets
ROAMIN - what an adorable chicken!

ISOM so pleased to hear Isoke is home and getting better. Did you ever find out what caused her to be ill in the first place?

    Jean I love that doorstop.

f1widow hope you soon feel better, hugs.
