i hope all are well sending hugs to everyone (but those in special need can have 2);)

havent got anything to update this week as ive been working on the blanket i promised DS, i did the 6 squares using 100grm ball for each in a rust colour then sewed them together and did one round of granny in same colour. I then changed to cream arran and did 3 rounds of trebles, ive finished off with 1 round of doubles in the rust colour. im going to weigh whats left and see if i have enough for 1 more round before finishing it off but as you can imagine its quite heavy to work.

ISOM - I've just signed the petition and was happy to be given the opportunity, so thanks for the link.

Well, it's been one of those bitty days that end up with a feeling of low achievement. Apparently, the ATM machine that kept our money is not being opened until tomorrow afternoon (even though they'd said it would be today), so we went down there for nothing. I've had to keep 'helping' DH which means I've given up trying to concentrate on the things that I want to do. So I shall be glad when it's tomorrow, I think! Then I can start again.

Sunny Girl - hope everything went well for you today.

I've been nowhere near the woolly stuff today so I'm going to get dinner done early so that I can sit down and crochet in peace and quiet.

Chalky - hope you're feeling less sad today.

Well, off to get the dinner on.

    Thanks Kathy
DOH and I have decided that you just have to accept you feel really sad for a while and then need a proverbial kick up the backside and get on with LIFE!!

So as I said earlier it has been yoga, cleaning, washing, exercises and now a meeting with the puppies! Doh is making Naan Breads for the first time ever so I thoroughly approve of his diversionary tactics!!

Then its Gardening day tomorrow so all is clicking back into place.

What a lovely "place" this corner of Craftland is-- always someone to show caring and kindness -- Thanks one and all.

  • Evening all!

Sitting here desperate for a cuppa, but have just been to the dentist and have a numb from the nose down feeling and I don't want to dribble everywhere! Hopefully it'll wear off soon; had a filling and a root extraction (and then a plate fitted ....it feels ever so odd).

Final day at home today as month long sick note runs out today and I have to go to work tomorrow. Have been productive and finished DD's cardigan I started with Aldi Aran wool I bought on Thursday (in the raspberry colour). It's got a cherry pattern up the fronts, and the amount of times I had to frog it back I was starting to think I was not meant to do the blooming thing! Anyway, it fits perfectly (good job I know I knit a size larger than the pattern), so doing the 6-12 month size fits (and shes 18 months almost). Have enough left to do a jumper metinks. Also bought 2 large Aran cream for jumpers for DS and DD. Need to finish a jacket I have almost done for me in a green Moonglow (it need the bands doing, lots of stitches), so that has to be done before I start anything else.

Have to parcel things up for Shelley, I know i have a selection of cardigans, buntings, vent hats and boobs to send through.

    Better go, bedtime for littlies.

Love to everyone, catch up properly with everyone soon

    dawn xx

ISOM will be thinking of you tomorrow

MAYTAURUS thanks for more fab patterns. Hope that you managed to find that lovely dog's owner. My reaction to an antibiotic has calmed down a lot - still some skin peeling but loads better - just waiting for a new scrip now.

MOLIERE hope that the ATM coughs up for you

SHAZROBO I admire you for not using the snow as an excuse to do nothing!

PURPLETEDDYBEAR Good work! Would a straw help with drinking?

    Hi all,

It went brilliantly although I'm shattered now :rotfl: I haven't worked outside of the home for so long (apart from helping DH run his business) so it feels strange but a good strange IYSWIM?

The dogs greeted me as though I'd been gone for a year :)

Have made the tea - speedy onion, red pepper & ham omlettes - and am having a quick surf before a bath and relaxing evening I think.

Chalky Hope that normakl life relaxes back into a pattern for you in the next few days xx

ISOM Petition signed and prayers being said for tomorrow xx

Purpleteddybear You have certainly been busy in your month off - hope it all goes well for you tomorrow xx

Moiliere May the cash machine cough up tomorrow  :T

No knitting tonight I think as the brain's mushy. Love to all and take care in the cold.
