Hi everyone --Lots of lovely "newsy" things on here today and everybody sounds busy!
Summer is delicious Kathy!!
RoaminPurple TeddyThat sounds freezing
Lorna Looks lovely but just think how much wool you could buy for one nights stay!
Psso-- Sounds like a lot of very hard work!!
Salome --Lovely post as always
Hope PFUNGI and Shaz are just busy with half term as we havent heard from them in a couple of days as some others MIA.
Well we braved a local market this morning even though it was raining!!!! And just as we were arriving a Dear Friend rang to say she was in Aldi and had seen the wool and did I want her to buy some for later in the year. DS thought it was hilarious . Us walking to a Spanish market and me talking on the mobile about wool to someone in the U.K --- No understanding about wool at all !!!
Well we have just returned from the Pitch and Putt -- DDil and me did constant phutting but it was a bit of fun but blowing a gale!
We are off for a nice meal tonight minus the swearing I very much hope and then its off to Alicante early in the morning so my travelling hooking is ready by the door!!
Have nice evenings one and all and lots of love xTry and do a good deed every day.0 -

Hi everyone. Thanks for all the lovely comments about Summer. I will get round to posting more photos but I just loved that photo because she looked so contented after she had had her dinner - home cooked it was, too!
I hate to rub it in, Jean, but we have had a gorgeous day here today. Bright and sunny for most of the day. My BIL who lives in the south, said it's been pouring down there but they did have sun and 16 degrees yesterday. It just seems to be so changeable everywhere these days.
Lorna - it's so good to hear some good news for your family. I pray it continues - you've all had far too much on your plates lately.
Elaine - hope the decorating is going well!
Well, I did ALL the ironing this morning and I'm pleased because I nearly put it off until tomorrow - I had to really force myself to do it! Horrid job.
As I said yesterday, we are waiting until Monday to find out about the €280 mistake the ATM made yesterday but, on top of that, DH bought the wrong kind of plasterboard but had cut it up before he paid for it to get it into his van, so he had to buy it. He bought four sheets that should have been around €9 each but he picked some that were €22 each! They were a slightly different colour but, as he's colour blind, he didn't notice! I'm not letting him out alone for a few days - he's becoming a financial risk!
Anyway, dinner is on - chicken curry and rice, so I'd better go and check it.
Have a great evening.

Omg ... I hope you get the money sorted out on Monday, all the latest tech is great as long as it doesn’t go wrong, I always say that about our bodies, they’re amazing ... but like our computers, when they go wrong, it can be very problematic.
Lovely cute picky of Summer awwwwwwwww :smileyhea

Re;’ motto ... 'Keep calm and carry on'
My dads’ favourite saying through all our problems is ‘we’ll just have to keep plodding on’
I’ve told him it will be used for his epitaph and mine will be ‘I tried and died’
And as you say, we have to keep ‘counting our blessings’

I shall go on the forum after dinner, although I can only really say there are just no words suitable to describe the sadness and empathy for such a sorrowful time.
I truly hope that the caring thoughts of others being sent will help her in some way
