    Hi everyone.

Lorna - you and your family are in my thoughts. (((Hugs))) to you all.

    Hester - you've done a fantastic job!

Blackcrow - that's a wonderful update! Every single item counts and will help someone in need. There's no pressure to make things - we all have other commitments in our lives, such as family, work and the dreaded housework, so please don't feel you have to 'keep up' with anyone. Goodness knows, I find it hard to do anything these days because time seems to run away with me here. Whether you make one tiny hat or a hundred, they all count! I've only managed to do 2 DO squares for LH this week, but have put lots of wool by for crocheting in the car and on the ferry on Saturday.

Chalky - that sounds like one organised production line! Good luck with them!

Well, I got a little bit more done to the outfit for Summer last night but I just know I won't have enough wool to make the matching pants, so I've had to scotch that idea. I'm cross about it, especially as I had almost finished the front and was really pleased with how they were turning out. I shall have to re-think my plans!

Anyway. as I now have just five days in which to get everything ready for our trip away, I have woken up in panic mode, so I shall have to start really getting organised!

Thanks for all the wonderful totals, I'll do the update later on today.

How about a complimentary colour with perhaps a trim or motif in the original colour?

Thanks for that suggestion, Lorna, but I've already used two colours - a self-patterning pinky-cream, and a hot pink. I will have another look in my stash, though, and see if I can find another colour that would work before I give up on it! I may be able to match the cream up with a plain cream.

Morning - we awoke to lots of little tiny white balls everywhere ???? strange weather

blackcrow - well done - I dont knit fast and get sidetracked easily so dont worry I dont do a lot - everything counts xx

lorna - thinking of your today xxx

kathy - your on the home stretch for England now - yippeeee xx

Well would you believe it - LH posts their new challenge and DS throws a wobbly that I never did Sackboy soooooooooooooo DS wins and I have to get Sackboy completed BEFORE I do anything else hmmmmmm (he thinks it will be finished today;)) I did the body and head last night so im on legs and arms - I have no zip so he will just be sewn up - I have plenty of recorded programmes to catch up and as I didnt go out yesterday afterall and did the ironing instead I think I can warrant a few hours on the sofa with the needles

Spring cleaning fairy is still lurking here and half of me wants to get on and the other half says noooooooooo - my list for this week is endless me thinks and still I have no parcel away to LH or shelley

Well I will catch up later hope everyone has a good day but to those of you that are feeling low or suffering BIG HUGS xxxxx

Morning all, just a quick pop in while munching on my toast. Been up for ages but just had a coffee so far to try to kick start the unwilling body :o

f1 - you are so lucky to have little white balls.......we`ve got lots more of the proper white stuff. Must have been about another 3 -4 inches anyway to clear off the path to get to the car this morning. Pity DD has to work.
DGS told me on Friday that there were `teeny tiny snowballs falling` when they left school that afternoon but his older sister reckoned they looked like `polythene`balls from a beanbag - worked out she meant polystyrene balls ;) so you must have got the same.
Sackboy is definitely more important than challenges or housework !!!!

black crow - every little item helps someone somewhere so don`t worry if your contribution seems small. I haven`t updated anything this week, `cos I haven`t got round to sorting stuff out.

Kathy - I have a vision of you running around flitting from job to job wondering which one to do first. Deep breaths and calm down. It will all come together by Friday, I know `cos I do exactly the same thing myself. I always write lists of what needs to be done/taken with me and Jim used to laugh at me saying that if I`d forgotten anything we`d just have to manage without it or go and buy one. I used to wake in the middle of the night to add something else to the lists.

I suppose I`d better go and do some house***k before it`s time to do the nursery run.
Hugs to those having problems of any kind.

Elaine - you've described my panic mode exactly! I DO keep waking up thinking of things to pack and I DO know that it will all come together in time, but that doesn't stop me worrying that I won't! I bet you'll be glad to see the back of the snow, won't you? We still have some lying on the ground but the sun is out again, and it's melting slowly but surely.

That’s so true, I wish more people thought about it, but at least we know there are some of them on here that do
