Nunnygirl that little bear is so sweet, who's he for?

Kinsey, not sure yet. Think he will end up staying with me to be honest, I think he's lovely. Decided on a name last night....he's called Roosevelt, after all he gave his name to the teddybear.:T

mioliere, thanks:o It's the first time I've knitted something with shape if you get my drift. Something that won't end up flat:rotfl:

blackcrow....love your kitty:D!! I used to have one like yours a LONG time ago when I was living with my parents.

((hugs)) to everyone that needs them, seems like a lot of people are having a bad start to the year:(

    Morning all
Pam, it's lovely to see you posting, and you're completely right about the geography. Be kind to yourself and do (or don't do) what suits, even if you end up with 200 WIPs :rotfl:.
Shaz, sorry to hear you split up. Try and take it easy and post if you want/need to.
Nunnygirl, I remember how chuffed I was with my first knitted thing that wasn't a square or scarf. Well done, he's lovely :j.
Meal sounds fab Mioliere - put a crochet lite on your birthday list then a little thing like it being dark won't matter ;). I have visions of Chalky's sunshine bus whizzing along in full floodlight so she can crochet on the way :rotfl:.
Hi May  <- not very impressive greeting next to yours! Hope things are improving for you.

  • Afternoon everybody, sorry I was delayed - little matter of accounts - DH said I MUST bring them up to date prior to month end - boring...yawn, so I am taking a bit of time off for a cuppa and catch up with all you lovely friends
Decided that this afternoon I will make a start on the cake factory - doughnuts I believe then I might have a try at some eclairs, they have got to be easy to do on the machine, but if I screw up I shan't tell you all.
Pam, lovely to see your post, as and when as they say, take care.
Maytaurus, that wee patchwork set is gorgeous, so I have saved that away, I also downloaded the crochet cardigan - but I think the terms are in US and I know I will be pants at remembering to change it all, so have put that pattern to one side for the time being. I hope you feel a bit better this week.
Shazrobo, sad to hear the situation with the BF didn't turn out well, you try and keep an open mind- there are always opportunities out there waiting to be found.
I know that rip it out trick Mrs Moneypenny - seems to happen to me all the time.
What a lot of knitting/crocheting we have all done, can't believe how quickly it all adds up.
Chalky - cakes used for pin cushions - also going to be sold in aid of the knitting 4 heroes (or is that hero's?) so they do have a purpose - I know they make me want to go and bake a batch to eat!
Tea is finished so I had better get back to the proper job I am at the computer for.
sending you all waves of love and mountainous cuddles, back later then

Afternoon all, hope you are all well

Nunny, I love the teddy, he looks a cheeky chapppie. Isn't it great how they all seem to have their own character, however many you make? Roosevelt is a great name for a ted.
Blackcrow, I love the way your cat is sat on the potholder!
Shaz, hope things get better for you soon (((hugs)))
May, that patchwork set is gorgeous, I don't know how you find all the best patterns, but thank you.
Chalky, are the Do squares going to you? If so can you pm me the address please.
prfungi, words are lovely, thank you.
Roamin, love the idea of the cake factory!

I'm still getting used to my new computer, it all looks very different than my old one, and may take me a while to find my way around. Our car has had to go to the cloggers today, so hoping it will sorted so we can go to Fleetwood and see my mum tomorrow. I might have to rescue some more wool from the market!

Thinking of the MIA's and poorlies
    love and hugs to all
