    Hi everyone.

Salome - great blog! I shall follow it with real interest. You have a very busy life! I still can't believe that you had ten children!

Mrs Moneypenny - the update each week is taken from all the totals posted up until midnight on the Sunday, so your latest items are in time for tomorrow's update.

Blackcrow - wow, you've been busy! That's a great total! I bet all your work is lovely. I'll try and remember how to post photos on here the way Maytaurus told me and post instructions on here.

Well, I'm halfway through a 12" square for LH and hope to finish it as we drive to our friends' house later on this morning. It's an hour each way so I should be able to start the 6" one, too, with any luck.

I'm still working on an outfit for the baby and need to get that finished before we go away. Less than two weeks now! Having only seen the family on Skype for the last few months (which has been great), I really can't wait to see them for real. The boys and their families are hoping to come out here in May - I'm hoping they can all come at the same time. It would be hectic but absolutely fantastic. We've already found loads of places to take them and, only yesterday, I was told of two other places with lovely beaches and cycle tracks for children, and another place with an open-air swimming pool. In this part of France they have a lot of lovely lakes that are really fishing resorts but have loads for families to do; I can't wait to try them all out with the grandchildren! We are also not far from the beach at La Rochelle on the west coast which is a lovely place, too. DH now has to plan the barbecue area - we didn't get round to it last year because there was such a lot going on, but it'll be fun getting it all set up with the family in mind.

Anyway, today we are off to lunch at our friends' house. There will be ten of us so I hope I've made enough starters for everyone! I only have to cook the chicken strips and make the green salad before we go. Various people are in charge of the other courses so lunch will be a real team effort.

Warm ((((hugs))) to all in need; I hope you all have a good day today.

Blackcrow - here are instructions for posting photos on here using Imageshack. It's the way Maytaurus told me how to do it and the only one that works for me! You don't have to join Imageshack unless you want to, but you can still use it free for posting photos.

Google 'Imageshack'; then click on 'browse' - this will take you to all your photos. Click on the photo you want to post. On the same page, you will be asked if you want to resize so click on 'resize to 320 X 240 (for websites and emails) then, just below that, click on 'upload now' - it will take a few seconds to load. When your photo appears, just below it click on 'direct link'. This will copy the link to your photo. When you post on here, look at the row of icons at the top of the 'quick reply' bit where you type your post, and click on the one that looks like a mountain on a yellow background. This will give you an 'http' box - click on that and paste the link stright into it. Voila - you will have posted your very first photo!

I hope I've written this all out clearly. I'm sure Maytaurus told me in fewer words!

I had tried all the other host sites like Photobucket and Flickr and just couldn't get them to work, but Imageshack seems to be foolproof. Good luck - we would all love to see what you've made!

    Hi
Just nipping on quickly before going to church.
On a roll now with the baby blanket. Just started the 8th square, 4 more to go :-)
Have a couple of my brood not well with colds etc. My nearly 21yr old son has just come down complaining of a sore throat, and my 17yr old daughter is all bunged up and miserable.
Have a prosperous and blessed day. Lots of hugs to those in need (((((hugs)))))

Just needed to share my new addition with you all. He is at the moment nameless, but last time I saw him he was in pieces in my OH's grandma's flat:T:T I knitted him up but due to my total inability she sewed him up for me and I got him back last night:D
