Updates for this week:
1 Chalky Square
1 Ventilator Bonnet
1 6" Square
My Mum only got her new reading glasses yesterday so will start her knitting this week :rotfl:
Chalky Is there a link to the pattern that you have used for your 6 & 12" squares they're lovely. Being new to crochet I couldn't suss it out by looking at itSome of the Granny Squares I have been looking at seem very complicated although I'm getting better at deciphering patterns now :T
Hope that everyone is having a good Sunday and big hugs to anyone who is down or have lost someone dear recently.

Hi to everyone. Hope you have had good days. hope your lunch went well Kathy
Just popeed back over the thread and thank you so much for kind comments about the name flag. They are really fun to do
I saw them on a stall in Covent Garden and as always having my camera with me tried to take a photo but the stall holder got really irate so I beat a hasty retreat.
They are really easy though.
Name Flag
Cast on 20 stitches.
40 rows all in garter stitch ( which makes 20 ridges )
Either then make an eyelet row-- but next time I am not going to bother and just use a sharp needle to poke through the cord.
Do 8 more rows after the eyelet row and cast off
Cut the letters out of felt and sew on
Crochet a cord in chain as long as you need and decorate with buttons or wahtever takes your fancy!
BlogI tried a few and got very frustrated !!! So some are in cyberspace . I now use Blogger and it is fine for me. It took a bit of getting used to ,posting pictures etc and I would still love to know how to do some things ****** See below!!
I use Picassa 3 for the Collages and really enjoy the results!
Granny Squares I posted the instructions for these but am not sure where they are now!!! However if you look on ATTIC24 Lucy has put a very easy tutorial on her blog.

Roamin-- Could you or anyone else point me in the right direction for a good knitted cupcake using 2 needles. I had one last night but can not find it again on Blogland !!
****** Talking of blogs -- Does anyone know how to put a link in a post on your blog which takes you to another post by you i.e one with similar content or similar project. Know it can be done but can't find out how to do it
Thanks nd lots of love xTry and do a good deed every day.0 -

Hi all
Haven't been around much this week but have kept up with the news on the daily update. Everyone seems to have been so busy with their knitting/crochet! Mine has taken a bit of a backseat this week - I've only managed to complete 1 bunting and half a preemie blanket but I'm plodding onI think I might have a go at a ventilator bonnet next - lots of you talk about these and it's inspired me to have a go.
Best wishes to everyone, especially those who are having a difficult time for whatever reason.
