Afternoon everyone, so sorry to hear the sad news from prfungi and sunnygirl, my thoughts and prayers are with you both.
It's taken me quite a while to catch up with all the chat, as well as following all the links posted. There's some really lovely patterns there to add to my favourites.
:hello:Hi to all the new knitters/crocheters who have joined out happy band, you'll love it here.

Not been around for a while, my computer's had it so I'm on a little laptop until I can get a new one. Hardly done any knitting this week, found a pattern for a little crocheted bag and it just took my fancy. Thought they might do for shezmit to sell at her next sale. Found some nice wool for the 8" squares, so might have a couple of them by next week.
The snow is just starting to thaw a little thank goodness, I'm fed up with it now. It will be nice to be able to get about without wellies!

Enough waffle, ((hugs)) to all who feel down or poorly.
    love to all

Hi everyone and lots of (((hugs))) for those in need.

Thanks to Jean, I have just posted the first shiny new update on my blog. You can find it by clicking into my name at the left hand side of this post, then clicking on 'Mioliere's homepage'.

You will see that Jean has made sure all the previous items to date are still listed; you'll find them at the end of the update bit. She has also made it possible for us to add the names of newbies and, also, any new challenges that come along.

It would be great if you would all check the update against the figures in your sigs so that we are starting off in the right way. With luck, and with Jean's expertise with the spreadsheets, there should be absolutely no excuse for me to get anyone's totals wrong ever ever again! It's usually poor Pippa's totals that I mess up, as well as Mrs Moneypenny's now and again! And lots of other people's, no doubt! If I do make a mistake, please don't apologise because it will be my fault and, please, do let me know!

I'd like to thank you all for such a brilliant first week - I believe there have been 175 items to add in 2010 already! Isn't that amazing?

I'd also like to thank all the newbies who have joined us, and all the 'old timers' who have made them so welcome. You are what makes this thread such a great place to be.

Thanks, also, to Jean for the wonderful spreadsheets!

I'd also like to thank my Mum, my producer, my director, my sound recordist - sorry, got carried away, thinking I was accepting an Oscar!

By the way, I have a doctor's appointment for tomorrow afternoon to try and get to the bottom of this cough.

    Hola !! To you all!

Well potted version of our journey-car,train,bus,plane,Sunshine Bus. Due to understandable delays we arrived here at 3.00 a.m!!

Well we found it very difficult to leave DMIL and of course the family, but all stocked up and everything is set for Mum to have a visit soon from dsil and then she is out with us for a fortnight in the Spring. I left her sitting knitting 8 " squares Bless her.

Well I am not trying to rub it in but we awaoke to Sunshine and a gorgeous warm day so we immediately felt wonderful. Sitting outside in our PJ's having a cup of tea!!

Well I crocheted for as long as I could but lost my nerve taking the hook through the scanner so we put it in the case and it has disappeared - gone -- gutted!!!

Well I have not caught up with all the posts yet but just wanted to let you know we had arrived safely.

Lots of gentle loving thoughts to all especailly as so many of us have a lot to deal with at the moment

Will catch up tomorrow when we are straight and refreshed !
Try and do a good deed every day.

My latest creation- a gown for BB. Top was followed from a pattern but I altered the dress part with shells (half trebles) as I think that makes a nice pattern. It is mint green
Kathy I will update next week ok ?
