Morning just popped in for a quick look through while OH is getting ready, and they say women take ages, I can never understand how it takes sooo long to comb a couple dozen of hairs :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:(well maybe a few more than that)
Managed to finish off a couple of my WIP's yesterday, a couple of scarves that have been hanging around since forever.......;)

Good morning ladies
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOVELY JEAN - a cake and
:bdaycake::grouphug::grouphug: a couple of group hugs from us xxxx
chalky - thanks for the squares instructions - secretly I was hoping you would post more info - I am almost hopping up and down to get going on 2010 knitting - I sorted my stash the other day (as if I had nothing better to do .... and realised I had rather a lot) - can you tell me what age range the blankets go to as I have some more "older" age group wool in colour if that makes sense - AND squares I can knit over xmas whilst watching all the repeats and listening to the family snoring ha ha
Just to let you know I did about 4.5 ironing yesterday hmmmm
pam - sorry to hear last week was a muddle for you - just hope mum continues to keep away from the nasties xx

Was that 4.5 HOURS Jaqui :eek::eek:?
Kathy is it possible to paste May's brilliant all-in-one-place post on to the first post of this thread? We seem to be getting some lovely newbies and I'm not sure where to point them any more and don't want them to be put off by our verrrryyyyyy long threads :rotfl:0 -
K2tog - great idea! Sadly, it wouldn't let me post the whole list, just the link. It's at the bottom of the very first post on this thread, so will hopefully be easy for newbies to find! Thanks for suggesting it!

Hi Everyone
Just popping in quick again, very busy at moment keeping everyone fed and watered.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEAN, have a lovely day.
Chalky what a lovely idea to start 2010 with, count me in too. I am looking forward to see what we can all come up with. Thanks for the square instructions.
Quick question I have had some 4ply wool come my way and I've never knitted with it before so what is it best used for? Not sure where to start really.
Anyway shall pop back in before the big day, we've had heavy snow forcast for this afternoon and it's suddenly gone very dark out. EEEK!
((Hugs)) to you all.x:jWooligans Totals 2010:

Afternoon all.
Jean - Happy Birthday!!!
Weel, the fireplace is now finished, mirror in place above it and all the decorations and tree all done. last of the Xmas cards done last night as well. all I have to do now is wrap and then a last food shop - all being well.
We are expecting visitors from the south but are hanging fire on making up beds etc as there's every possibility they might not get here. Weather is fine but cold here today and v slippy underfoot. sky looks very threatening though....
Hopefully will be able to settle to some charity knitting again soon - everything else seems to take over . I have a few days off work over Christmas so am going to treat myself to some "me time" - I love an afternoon with a box of chocs, a glass or two of sherry and a Miss Marple (with Joan Hickson) on the telly - can't wait.
Just noticed - its now snowing again!!
Take care all, keep warm.
