Welcome to Saving Su and SuunyGirl -- the more the Merrier
Jean you are the one who is " Beautifully Bonkers!!"

right i have got 1 pair of wrist warmers to sew and 1 pair to make so must get on !!

I have decided I am doing 1 more shop tomorrow and then I am officially holed up until way after Christmas!
DOH is so puzzled because we have done 2 shops since our return but there is nothing to eat in the house !!! Lots of " You can't eat those, they are for Christmas etc etc " A big piece of Gammon and A Partridge on a Pear Tree if you know what I mean but no day-to-day food!!

So its list time then shop then sit back and enjoy the family. The only trouble is I actually believe they think there really is not that much to this Christmas lark!!! What a shock they have got coming when they "do" their own!!
Try and do a good deed every day.

a wee bit of detail- please note I can now crochet....talk about surprise yourself, haven't yet managed to read a crochet pattern tho' perhaps thats one of the new years resolutions then. Working on my chain stitch off to see who else I can annoy tonight he he, oh previous floor games included snakes and ladders so pleased I didn't attempt that in the knitting! Chalky Lou at LH sent me four boxes - two were wool for the machine and the other two were flannel, toweling and cotton so I am up for the Algerian Action, only problem is DSon rang today he is on tomorrows flight for a whole three weeks with us WOW I am gobsmacked - well if it was possible to be speachless no doubt I would be.

I did well today and have almost finished the cross stitch and have just joined the 2nd ball into my scarf. I feel a wool shop visit coming on before Christmas for sure :D It can be my treat to myself!

Jean I am not too good at reading Crochet patterns either!

I am envisaging the 2010 project spanning a good few months as
    a) Everyone can take their time and do it "as and when" and
b)also I am tooing and frooing to Spain so would have to concentrate on pulling it all together during 1 of our UK stints!

So totally enjoy sons visit and we will all have a think whilst you are enjoying a well deserved rest after those beautiful games,
Try and do a good deed every day.

Hi Sunnygirl and SavingSue so pleased to have new peeps aboard. Would refer you to all the info on the first post but I'm not sure if it's there since we had to start a new thread . Will check in a bit.
Jean, your games look fantastic and you made me :rotfl: at snow angels.
Kathy if you add any more pressies to your list you'll be knitting til Easter!
Hope the snow doesn't cause too much trouble Onlygirl - it looks so pretty but only if you don't have to function in it!
Just opened a parcel that came the other day and half of it is not there with a note saying "to follow". I hope it follows before Christmas! Must crack on with my last ruffle scarf this evening - it seems to be taking forever and I think it's because it's the last one. Looking forward to doing some preemies boobs and some LH teddies after Christmas as well as a hat for ME! And maybe for some sailors... Waiting for inspiration for the RWB project - nothing is grabbing me at the mo and will have a think about Chalky's idea too, but will try not to spend too much time surfing for ideas or the scarf will remain unfinished!

Just had a thought (steady on...)
There are some beautiful babettes (think that's what they're called) on ravelry and flickr. Could we take on one of those? And if so, who for? Maybe RWB project? Just thinking aloud really.....

Jean - your games are fabulous, they really are. Aren't you talented?! And please don't thank us for putting up with you. You've been a valuable member of our lovely group and, besides all that, you've made updating so much easier for me AND you kept me going when I first moved out here and couldn't get France Telecom to listen to me! Lots of (((hugs))) to your sister.

Well, I've done a lot of dozing this afternoon but I also had a lovely Skype with DS2, DIL and gorgeous Summer. I love seeing them but, oh, it's making Christmas a lot harder being so far away. DH and I have both decided we're spending Christmas in the UK next year! Can't wait!

    Have a great evening.
