Well Dmil treated us to a lovely lunch and I was so full I came home and had a sleep-- The Dormouse got into the teapot and put the lid firmly on !!! As I was relaxing for 1 second I felt guilty and then thought how the next few weeks would be so I gave in and had a lovely snooze!!

Only Girl-- I cant believe the weeks have gone by so quickly either but life does whizz by

Elaine So lovely to be a part of your loop. I really missed you

Jean I am really looking forward to seeing all your colourful things

Shelley Hope baby arrives safe and well. It seems only a minute ago we were all waiting for news of Summer

Kinsey, pfungi,ISOM,pol and all you other lovely people hope you are happy
    and well

Shaz I bet your boys are getting excited

Knitthappens and other newbies I hope all your knitting and hooking is
    going well

Well DMILS wristwarmers are now ready for the homeward journey and I am 3/4 of the way through a pair of mens for DD1'S partner. Using 36 stitches the pattern works beautifully and must I say look much better but DMIL will love hers anyway and I am so loathe to unpick -- life is too short!!

I too think they will make lovely additions to Loving Hands Challenges. I am really looking forward to getting back to some Charity work with wool I smuggle back in January !! Wool here also very expensive and definitely skinny !!

Well so much waffle! Happy evevnings everybody !!
Try and do a good deed every day.

Hi this was my tarot - I dont think its quite right ...............

You are The Wheel of Fortune
Good fortune and happiness but sometimes a species of intoxication with success
The Wheel of Fortune is all about big things, luck, change, fortune. Almost always good fortune. You are lucky in all things that you do and happy with the things that come to you. Be careful that success does not go to your head however. Sometimes luck can change
Sometimes I feel very unlucky :rotfl::rotfl:

Shezmit - busy busy busy - hope mum and baby are well xx

may - thanks for the lovely post

hope our french connection are all well over there

Anyay off for bath - sit down and knit (Must must must do some scarves)
Hugs and love to you all xxxx

    Hello everyone,
I've had quite a good day today (Sat.), after the lovely meal last night I had a leisurely start today, I carried on with the hat for DGD I started last night & got it finished off, also sewed the hat for DGS2. Still got about 12 - 15 inches to do for DGS's (cabled) scarf but I started DGDs scarf anyway as its a much more relaxed pattern (twin rib) for a lazy brain day.

psso thanks for the note about Kemps - I wandered over there the other day & spotted the sock yarn, so I stocked up a bit, I also got 3 balls of the baby 4ply as I'm getting addicted to the finer needles. I laughed to myself when I got the email, thinking I'd beaten them to it. Yes the scarves & hats are in lovely snug wool, so I'm hoping they'll do the job..

Chalky - once again your words amaze me, the dormouse in a teapot bit exactly sums up how I feel after good meal :rotfl:. Also, I'm feeling good thanks for your good wishes.

F1 - the Wheel of Fortune may well explain why you sometimes feel unlucky but it also should bring good luck, so that must be on the horizon :T

    Mioliere - our High Priestess - down to a T :T

    ok - enough for tonight,

    sleep tight all !

    luv

Re; What Tarot Card are You maytaurus?
    You are The Lovers
Motive, power, and action, arising from Inspiration and Impulse.
The Lovers represents intuition and inspiration. Very often a choice needs to be made.
Originally, this card was called just LOVE. And that's actually more apt than "Lovers." Love follows in this sequence of growth and maturity. And, coming after the Emperor, who is about control, it is a radical change in perspective. LOVE is a force that makes you choose and decide for reasons you often can't understand; it makes you surrender control to a higher power. And that is what this card is all about. Finding something or someone who is so much a part of yourself, so perfectly attuned to you and you to them, that you cannot, dare not resist. This card indicates that the you have or will come across a person, career, challenge or thing that you will fall in love with. You will know instinctively that you must have this, even if it means diverging from your chosen path. No matter the difficulties, without it you will never be complete.

Hi everyone - your High Priestess here! Woke up late so I don't look very High Priestessy at the moment!

I hope everyone is well and that you all have a good Sunday.

Shez - you've really had a busy week, haven't you? Well done for getting through it all.

Chalky - hope the packing is going well; have a safe trip back!

I was a little disappointed with the Strictly result last night. While I appreciate that Chris and Ola have done really well, I really wanted Ricky and Ali to battle it out in the final. Ali has been the best and most consistent dancer all the way through (and the only girl left!), and I was looking forward to seeing what she and Brian would come up with in the final.

Anyway, I hope to complete my Mum's cushion covers today, as long as I don't get interrupted like yesterday. Our best sofas and chair have been in storage in one of the barns since we moved, but DH wanted to get them in the house before the real winter starts. Our lovely neighbour, Mikael, helped with the heavy stuff, then I helped tidy up the barn, and it was freezing in there. Until I got roped in, I was happily crocheting away while watching Black Beauty on the TV, and I missed the end of it. A bit later, Mikael needed DH's help - the gearbox had gone in his uncle's car and he needed some rope for towing. He asked for 'rode' first of all, and had to draw a diagram of what he meant! He has decorated the outside of his house for Christmas and, when it's pitch black outside (we have no street lighting here), it looks amazing because it's all you can see. I'll try and remember to take a photo of it.

Well, I'd better go and put the kettle on again.

I hope all the poorlies are feeling better.

Maytaurus - hope you and your family have a good day today.

Maytaurus - you've given those teds real personalities! The dalmation is just like our neighbours' mad-as-a-hatter dog when he was a puppy. He's four years old now, absolutely huge, and completely mad!

    You are The Sun

    Happiness, Content, Joy.

The meanings for the Sun are fairly simple and consistent.

Young, healthy, new, fresh. The brain is working, things that were muddled come clear, everything falls into place, and everything seems to go your way.

The Sun is ruled by the Sun, of course. This is the light that comes after the long dark night, Apollo to the Moon's Diana. A positive card, it promises you your day in the sun. Glory, gain, triumph, pleasure, truth, success. As the moon symbolized inspiration from the unconscious, from dreams, this card symbolizes discoveries made fully consciousness and wide awake. You have an understanding and enjoyment of science and math, beautifully constructed music, carefully reasoned philosophy. It is a card of intellect, clarity of mind, and feelings of youthful energy.

    What Tarot Card are You?

Morning toone and all Thanks May A lovely bit of fun . Darent look at the new links as not enough time at the mo ___ Too many minutes impersonating a Dormouse !!

Love the teddies-- excellent. Hope you have a precious day

Well fridges to clean etc atc. But still wont take long once I get going. I hate sharing the last towel when you have washed everything else cos I am always last up!!

Kathy Your neighbours sound loveley real "entente Cordial!"

Well one and all lots of gentle thoughts and a crank up to anyone who needs it

All of you with littlies - Enjoy the magic even though I am sure the excitement is growing ! I was at the yoga carol Service and meeting last Friday and we sang Carols from around the world. There was only 14 of us but that little group was made up 1 Israeli. I Irish, I Canadian 2 Spanish I American 1 thai and the rest of us in a Pear Tree but when we came to the British Song " Away in a Manger" Tears ( unseen by the others I might add ) came to my eyes . So many memories of little Mary's pulling Joseph to Bethlehem and waving to Mummy and kings invariably with crowns over their eyes and fiddling with either their pants or noses. I think that sweet little song is the epitome of children at Christmas
Try and do a good deed every day.
