    Hello to everyone.
Elaine Lovely to see you posting xx

To one and all I hope things so smoothly in this run up to Christmas, it is such a busy time and hard to keep your mind on one thing--- Found that out to my cost Has Dmil on my arm OH was giving me money I was thinking about garlic to bring home and lost 20Euros !!!!!! I hope someone really in need found it !!!!!

Well we are sorting out now for our return to the Uk on Monday- It does look funny beacuse every nook and cranny in the suitcases has little wooly bits poking out. Lots with Curly Wurly bits attached!! Your fault Kathy!

I also like to bring a bit of all things Spanish back for Christmas so a few other things tucked away!! Oh and a bottle of our very favourite Vino Collapso for Christmas Dinner !!

Have good days everyone. I expect the shops etc are heaving !! If it is all too much for you for what ever reason think of a tranquil place the sea or a river always does it for me

Lots of love to one and all
Try and do a good deed every day.
  • morning me lovelies...hugs those that need them...ugh have got to venture to the shops and would rather not a bound to be loopy! Feeling less fluey today so will help with tea and cofee at church concert. My list is thankfully almost done...going to try and find an easy baby boot pattern but other than that pretty much done - maybe a couple of pairs of mitts!! one for me if I have time!
lol re the packing chalky - hope you leave room for you to sit!

Chalky - I couldapologise for the ruffle scarf pattern, but I won't because it really has been useful for lots of people, hasn't it?! I can just imagine the shops after Christmas full of people wandering round wearing them! I shall definitely be making myself some once all the pressies on my list have been finished. I hope your trip back the UK (you lucky thing, you!) goes really well. Once you've taken all the curly bits out of your cases, there will be plenty of room for more wool, won't there?! Is it easy to buy in Spain? It's too expensive here, and limited in choice, so I am definitely planning a long session in my favourite wool shop back home in January.

I am currently looking for a crochet dress pattern (for Summer, who is nearly four months old, so I want to make one for aged 6 months) but can't seem to find the perfect one, so if anyone has come across one, I'd be really grateful. I have some lovely self-patterning pink wool, plus some that matches the deepest pink, and would love to make her a really girlie dress.

ISOM - I will take some photos of Louis later and post them. He has changed quite a bit and looks almost full-grown, but still behaves like a kitten and just loves wool!

Hi all, hope you are all keeping nice and toasty indoors today. Got up this morning and it had been so frosty overnight that it looked like snow  everything was white.

Pam - hope it`s nice cosy scarves etc you are doing for your family - I`m in Aberdeen so it might be even colder 45 miles away - or maybe it will be milder if  they are lucky

Ventured into town before the young `uns got up this morning and got the last of my Christmas pressies bought (the ones I couldn`t knit :rotfl:) so just have to have a wrapping session now.

Maytaurus - haven`t looked at the link Kathy posted but clicked on the tarot card test for a giggle - result says

You are the Star. ( ;) so it`s official now eh ?)

    Hope, expectation, bright promises.
The STAR is one of the great cards of faith, dreams realised.
The Star is a card that looks to the future. It does not predict any immediate or powerful change, but it does predict hope and healing. This card suggests clarity of vision, spiritual insight. And, most importantly, that unexpected help will be coming, with water to quench your thirst, with a guiding light to the future. They might say you're a dreamer, but you're not the only one.

Wonder if it says the same to everyone who tries it ??
    BTW I`m not a Maytaurus, I`m a Januaryaquarian :D

Off to get a cuppa and have a look at all the links.

Maytaurus - thanks for all those links. I hope things improve for your family soon; you've all been through such a lot. It seems so unfair. Lots of (((hugs))) to you all.

    KathyXX

Apparently, according to the tarot test, I'm a High Priestess!

    You are The High Priestess
The High Priestess is the card of knowledge, instinctual, supernatural, secret knowledge. She holds scrolls of arcane information that she might, or might not reveal to you. The moon crown on her head as well as the crescent by her foot indicates her willingness to illuminate what you otherwise might not see, reveal the secrets you need to know. The High Priestess is also associated with the moon however and can also indicate change or fluxuation, particularily when it comes to your moods.

    Thanks for the links Maytaurus.

    My Tarot Card is Sun.

The meanings for the Sun are fairly simple and consistent.
Young, healthy, new, fresh. The brain is working, things that were muddled come clear, everything falls into place, and everything seems to go your way.
The Sun is ruled by the Sun, of course. This is the light that comes after the long dark night, Apollo to the Moon's Diana. A positive card, it promises you your day in the sun. Glory, gain, triumph, pleasure, truth, success. As the moon symbolized inspiration from the unconscious, from dreams, this card symbolizes discoveries made fully consciousness and wide awake. You have an understanding and enjoyment of science and math, beautifully constructed music, carefully reasoned philosophy. It is a card of intellect, clarity of mind, and feelings of youthful energy.

Cor that's interesting! Not sure its me though :rotfl:

    Back later,
    luv

Hello WORLD - me here, trying so hard to finish the red/white/blue project and I will post photo's tomorrow, when it is all done.
MAYTAURUS - you just had to post even more places to go look at? I have no time left for making more STUFF, or even looking at it.
PSSO - lovely to see you back, we did miss you.
I would just like to say I didn't cheat or do the tarrot thing more than the once - but like Pam - I don't see me in the one it picked for me
    LOVE TO YOU ALL

You are The Wheel of Fortune
Good fortune and happiness but sometimes a species of intoxication with success
The Wheel of Fortune is all about big things, luck, change, fortune. Almost always good fortune. You are lucky in all things that you do and happy with the things that come to you. Be careful that success does not go to your head however. Sometimes luck can change.

    Hello all,

    My tarot card is:
The World card It is indicative of a complete circle. Everything is finally coming together, successfully and at last. You will get that Ph.D. you've been working for years to complete, graduate at long last, marry after a long engagement, or finish that huge project. This card is not for little ends, but for big ones, important ones, ones that come with well earned cheers and acknowledgements. Your hard work, knowledge, wisdom, patience, etc, will absolutely pay-off; you've done everything right.

I think some of it is true, not sure about the phd bit though:eek: way beyond my capabilities:rotfl:

Pam my goodness you have a lot to do, I'm sure you'll manage it all though.

Chalky I can't believe you are coming back to the uk already it seems not that long ago you left for spain, have a safe journey.

Mioliere again I can't believe Summer is 4 months already. Where have the last few months gone?

There are only 19 days left of 2009:eek::eek::eek:. just thought I'd share that with you all.:D

Well I have finished DSIL's cape which I've made in Sirdar Hug wool(so soft) doubled up to make extra chunky all I have to do is sew the buttons on now. Nearly finished DMIL's ruffle scarf which is in a kind of dark apple green ish!?! Then I need to make waffle gloves to match if I have nough wool that is.

Right have waffled enough, have a good evening everyone.x
