Hello Keiss21 and anyone else who may be lurking and find us all a bit much - please dive in and say hello :hello:

Did present wrapping last night (mainly kids' stuff so i can hide it away again) and have scarves to wrap as well as more to make. Feel like I'm getting there.... Feeling a bit achy today so will look forward to bath and crochet when small noisy people are in bed. Might even talk DH into getting a takeaway - not very OS but doesn't happen often.
See you all later0 -

Thank you Roamin for the wonderful idea for the Curly Wurly Key rings. I think they are really brilliant. DD2 aka Carrot recently left our house key inside the house in the UK. She drove to dd1's house to borrow her key then got stopped on the way home by the police( not dressed as a carrot I might add!!) Got told off quite rightly for wearing flip flops driving !! So I am going to get a spare key and put it on the ring for her and she can hide it away somewhere
So Thanks Jean
Now any more little things please!!Try and do a good deed every day.0 -

chalky you can come again - alas though I was 22 a while ag and am now 40...only seems like a minute ago though - does that count?!!
Thanks to all those who have been thinkig/praying today - worked as meeting went as well as can be expected but I was calm and said most of what I wanted to...of course there wil be other thinks whe my thoughts settle...loosing voice as have had so many calls from people wanting to know if I was ok so I feel very blessed and loved, despite it all.
Went on wool rescue mission and got one ball of debbie bliss to match the other 3 balls that match it and a scarf (in faggot stitch) will follow...:D Gave a pair of the waffle gloves away today but was most dissapointed that she loved them, they fitted and wanted to keep them so will have to make some more for me!!bummer...hoped they would be too small so I would be able to justify making her another larger pair!
hugs to the poorlies...hard to rest at this time of year isnt it...
welcome keiss...
big hugs for those struggling this time of year...

chalky - I was 21 such a long time ago...no, my birthday is on the 21st (last month in fact!)......I have now entered my 50th year..:eek: Looking forward to planning my BIG party in 2010...must remember to give everyone plenty of notice this time, (most of my friends couldn't make it to my 40th! )
Thanks everyone for making me most welcome....I think I am going to enjoy it here! When buying wool for all these Christmas presents, I did buy wool for myself...enough to knit a nice lacy cardigan with Sublime Kid Mohair in Mist (a pale grey/blue). I will have time after Christmas to knit this....when there isn't such a rush on. I might even wrap the wool and pattern book in christmas wrapping paper to stop me working on it any earlier!
Now off to investigate this post a bit more before getting back to the Mocha Funky Fur Magic (nice stripes!).
Thanks again everyone for your lovely words of welcome.
I will post some piccies when I track down the camera!
