I have been 'ruffling and mitting' like mad have done a pink set for DGD1, and DGD2 said her favourite colour is cheese.... so I guess that means yellow, so I picked up a ball from Wilkinsons for 97p Should get that done tonight. I have also done a longer one for a friend in an aubergine colour, I am really tempted to keep it and do her another one ;)

Have done a couple of Hedgies, 1 for MIL and 1 for sis, still have'nt started the Pampas chunky cardies for DGD's so better get cracking or they won't be done.

Off for a :coffee:now back later

Thought I would just add a funny which has made me believe the innocence of children has not died

my old neighbour knows a little girl round corner she tells my friend "oooh Im in the play at school and Im a cornflake"

next day she said she had it wrong and it was just a plain flake .......

My friend asked was she sure it was not a snowflake to which the little girl said oh yes you could be right .......

Ive been laughing about that for days ........:rotfl: Little things please little minds

ps anne - dgd2 favourite colour cheese ........ loved it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:- which variety :rotfl:??????

Great news about your new teeth Jaqui
Well done Mrs MP and DS for your rescue mission - there are so many hedgie rescue places around that I reckon they must have a special knack for getting themselves into a pickle.
Well done on your fete Pam - should buy lots of little treats.
Hello May :hello: hope you're taking it easy.
Salome it sounds like you are a very effective knitting recruiter and I think knitting and crochet are good things to be able to share. It is so much easier to show someone what to do than tell them. I can never explain myself in a logical fashion in type! Need to get on with (what else?) a ruffle scarf so here's to them and trees with more tinsel than tree  enjoy the DGDs decorating Pippa!

**MONTY AND TYLER TAKE THE TOP ROAD** on the Help for Heroes website

    9780956363503.jpg

‘... true story of a horse named Monty and his canine friend, Tyler.
Monty, a beautiful Dales Cross Cob, and Tyler, a pedigree black Labrador, achieved 'fame' in the media in the summer of 2005 due to a special and unusual skill they mastered.
The story, told through the eyes of the dog, Tyler, demonstrates a tender and trusting bond between the animals, as well as the patience of their fun-loving owner Sarah
Monty and Tyler were the beloved pets of Corporal Sarah Louise Bryant (N!e Feely), a soldier of the Intelligence Corps of the British Army, who was killed in action in Afghanistan on 17th June, 2008
